Hello everyone!


I present to you all, my first pic for 2009!

This is for the Star Wars fans!

I simply love this pic.... It has to be my best one so far...

Like my Sheeva pic, I wanted to make a different, non-canon ending for Shaak Ti. Her true story ends in a dark way, but she's just too beautiful for such a sad ending.


I have provided my lighter ending for the pic on my DA page, please check it out. It's only a detailed description, not a long story, but I still think it's pretty good. :happy:

I hope you guys and gals like the pic... I really love this one...The amount of detail is way more than my usual pics.

Shaak Ti was on my list of characters that needed to be tickled. She's one of those characters that, that is well known, but not super popular. I love taking the lesser known characters, because they are different and unique...

Being an SW fan... i really really really really like this one.
Not big on FU canonwise but i like this a lot.

Shaak Ti's spicy scarlet skintones appeal just as teasingly as Teeva's smoothly minty ones when Bombers lofts the pallet! A masterpiece of composition, color and action... soft-focus elements in both fore and background throw the central tussle into sharp relief, tacking down a dramatic sense of the cinematic that would certainly thrill the heart of this picture's inspiration! Despite a daunting, darting tangle of tickling sources (this mud creature knows all the right spots to hit!), along with Shaak Ti's wildly thrashing pose, fine element logistics and canny color separation insure that the involved scenario is never confusing! A wealth of fine detail (the elaborate headdress, in which each dainty pearl warms with an opulent luster; a miniature cataract of trickling tears and its cousin sparkle of individual perspiration droplets; the spreading rosy blush of softly pestered soles) adds its humble richness without distracting from the whole's impact! A Community gift to justly inspire pride... if January 2009 offers up such wonders, what miracles may we expect next December!

Indeed! Back and foregrond blurring puts all focus on what's needed to be seen, while still giving a sense of tickle doom from all around! The giant living pit known as the "Ancient Abysss", according to Star Wars texts, is one that delves into torturing it victims with great skill. Tickling is a skill that the pic seems to be very familiar with, as with us all! The pic was a bit unwildly, as even I got confused with color. (the color of her outfit was really tangled up with the tentacles color.)
But it all set nicely in the end. I'm always happy that you enjoy the fine details. 2009 will be a year of great pics indeed! Stay tuned!

Heh it's the ending that i hated above all. To me the game kinda vaped a lot of continuity and made Vader look silly. But doesn't matter. Looking forward to your future work! ^___^
