Should I change my Nic???

Hey all...

I am in question to change my nic..a friend of mine, who is also a member here gave me the suggestion, however,,when I told her the meaning of "currahee' she was unsure..


Well, I am Irish all the way, and she at first suggested "IrishBoy"..but, again when I told her the meaning of "Currahee" she is unsure, but then I am unsure..I love my heritage, "God Save Ireland"...so, I need some help here..do I go "IrishBoy" or keep it the same..lemme' know ppl......

Currahee or is it "IrishBoy"?

Well, if this is more of an issue of pride for you, and culture, then definitely Irish Boy.

I myself have celtic roots as well, and I've made not of that in some of my SNs.

Well, like us don't know what mean "Currahee" then is a bit hard can to opine about of it, could you say us what mean ?, if you don't matter, of course.

CURRAHEE..is actually a native american name, which menas.."we stand alone...togther" Currahee is the name of a hill in camp tacoa Ga..it is 3 miles up, 3 miles down, ho6 regiment..where the first paratroopers were trained in WWII...out of respect it is....

Well, due to you're from ireland and currahee isn't related with your origin, but with native american, i'd say than fit better for you the other nickname. Anyway, that's your decision, so i recommend to you that you think it well, therefore the answer will come from you, instead of somebody else.

Well, also consider that nicknames are something other people are supposed to give you and they either stick with you or they don't. If she calls you "Irish Boy" then thats her nickname for you. If others call you the same thing then its definitely official.

People don't actually choose their own nicknames. But since you're changing your SN, I guess this would be an exception.
