I have a female friend here in Hawaii that use to be part of our forum. I haven’t seen her logged in for about four months. I asked her why and she stated that the men on this forum are like dogs in heat. She got soooo many pm’s that just didn’t show any restraint or respect for her. It all overwhelmed her to a point that she won’t be back, so she was scared off by the men on this forum.

Soooo, Please be kind to the female lees on this site. Show some respect!!!

I am sure if they want to show their feet, they will post some photos. If they want to meet someone in person, they would post that too.

I am sure I have pissed off some people, but I got upset that my friend had such a bad experience here.

I would love to hear from some of the other females that have had bad experiences here too.

I totally agree. I have not ever PMd anyone without having some honest reason to do so. It's sad that people have so little restraint. Then they wonder why so few ladies stick around. We have a personals section. If the lady is looking she'll be in there. I mean how simple is that? C'mon.
 
It's not only the guys who stalk the girls, though. A female friend of mine told me about how the worst messages she's recieved are from other girls.
 
Whole-heartedly, man. I totally agree, and I've bared witness to this sort of thing HUNDREDS of times. But I suppose with a community predominantly populated by men, things like that are bound to happen...
maybe we should consult ye olde rule book and ask the mods if that is okay.

I've been in your friend's position...and it blows...

The entitled, predominantly male (although not limited to those with Y chromosomes) population that believes that just because a lady shares a similar interest and is a member of the same website, that they get to have access to her pics, personal info, and, often, access to the lady herself...

I agree with the comments that support searching the Personals section for ladies who actually DO want to share pics, or meet up, or cyber, or whatever the majority of the entitled, obnoxious, annoying f*cks out there want...

My hope, by getting this out in the open, is that we can bring some respect to our lady lees here. Maybe we can keep the ones we have here and that we don't scare off the new ones.
I have wanted to pm some of the other members, but don't want to bug them. I would just want to joke around and shoot the shit. But due to the bad ones that PM, I haven't PM much.

Also thanks Relent<, you always say nice things on your posts. So does Cavum, FeatherDemon, and a lot of the other members here, more than I could list. You all are the reason I am here.
There are alot of nice people here, please don't think I am talking about the majority here.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a problem here--not one that's kept me away from TT, obviously. I don't have a problem with turning guys down for pics/cam and stuff...it's something you develop when you have my kind of popularity, not to sound too condecending😛 Guys in general are, with some exceptions, awkward around the opposite sex and don't mean to offend when they send this stuff. I don't like it, but give 'em a LITTLE slack😉

Perhaps the most annoying is when screen names are exchanged and the male constantly IMs wanting to talk about nothing but tickling. I do not like being afraid of checking my mail or leaving my AIM on while I am gone for fear that someone will leave things on my screen that I would rather others not see. If no respect is shown I do not want to bother speaking with them anyway so what good is it to do this?

Oh god, I know that problem. It's not that I don't mind talking to people, and I don't care if my roommates see stuff on my screen (they're my lers, after all), but I hate the fact that it's so hard to keep my PM box from being full or that I literally have to spend five minutes looking at offline messages when I actually do get on messengers.

Some guys just seem nice to talk to. They start out polite and stuff, not pushy at all. But then, over time, turn clingy and always begging for attention. Granted, I may make the problem worse because I'm on messengers so rarely, but it's still a frustration when I get on.

Remember that also there are guys pretending be girls, so that not necessarily those messages came from real girls.

johnttickle: You could to talk with your friend (that girl) and say her that she can block not wished messages or she can decide doesn't answer them. But if she decide to leave the forum, then she probably will lose many good things.

I am trying to get her to come back. She is a true sub and doesn’t handle stress all that well. I tickle it out of her every couple months, when she flies in from Honolulu. I will be seeing her this Saturday, and will show her this thread. I don’t want to post her screen name, which would get me in trouble if I did.
I feel bad in a way since I was the one to get her to be more open about being kinky. I told her to come to our fine site, but after she got the PM’s, she ran away. Some of the PM’s were very rude to her, when she decided not to respond to a couple of people. Some of the people that PM her didn’t take well to rejection, and said some real rude things. So she just stated to me that she doesn’t need to deal with that kind of harassment.

Anyway, I still love you all, in a respectful way.

On behalf of all us that are not like that i apologize. I am relatively new to this site and wondered why there were more men than women but now i see why. I would like any females here that would like to meet someone sane to feel free to pm me if they choose. It's like my mom used to say "One bad apple spoils the whole bunch." I feel some compassion for you ladies. If you need a bodyguard i will gladly volunteer my services. To those men who dislike what i said we can handle this man to man if you have the balls!!!
 
You know...I don't understand why some men can have absolutely have no respect for any women, with exception of course. What does this scum of the earth think they have rights to? Anything they want? I absolutely dispise anyone who thinks just because they have a labido they believe they have a right to fullfill it regaurdless of reactions from others. Of course i've never been in love, or had a girlfriend before or...any friend for that matter. So my appreciation of any relationship is beyond most any other people I can think of. I guess I just view actions like this as lowely as any criminal action. So get this straight you pieces of s***. This may be the internet but that doesn't mean people are immune to your bulls***, so keep it in your pants. Damn it.
 
There are some new privacy options available to members since our last board upgrade, including the option to receive PM's only from mods/admins and your forum buddy list. They can be accessed from your User CP-> Edit Options. Don't forget to click "Save Changes" at the bottom left of the page to save your preferences.

The notion "well-known girl" sometimes relies on assumptions or lies.
Passing oneself for somebody else is easily done, online, and all sorts of mischief can happen when your friends happen to hijack your account for some random "fun".

The sweet girl we meet online, might be a grandmotherly woman in disguise, or a man looking for new thrills.
I remember a web guide full of user stereotypes, called the Forum Warriors, first mentioned to me by Miss Val, which described the foibles and flaws of internet users, under a comedic light.
Something most users do, to a greater or lesser extent, is trying to pass themselves off as something different, better, than they think they are.

The real problem is not showing respect to female users.
The problem is showing respect. Period.

Excess of aimed respect can lead attention-starved men into perceiving female roles as desirable, while we should strive for a modicum of gender equality.

Personally, I tend to regard all users as genderless.
I am unlikely to meet any of them, so gender is of little consequence anyway.
