Signature Issues

Hey

I was wondering if someone (admin or otherwise) could help me figure out why I can't put a quote on my sig.

This is the quote:
Motion pictures and weapons of war…science has created them both. So while others point their barrels, I’ll have my camera…offering fantastic dreams of other worlds just beyond our reach.

I keep getting the "Must be shortened, only up to five lines" message, but it only shows as four lines in the text box...and then when I want to "jazz" it up a bit (different font, colour, size, etc.), it then says that the BB Code is too big.

Can anyone help straighten this out for me?

Four lines the quote itself may be, but add in BB Code and it moves beyond to five. I assume you use the WYSIWYG version of the TickleTheater, where typing text does not show the BB Code. BB Code uses tags to make itself work. If you want to make a sentence bold, it takes seven characters worth or opening and closing tags to do so. If you want to change font, it takes many more. To see what I mean, go to "Edit Options" in your user CP and change the very last option to "Basic Editor." Now try editing that quote into your signature with text effects. See the additional BB Code? That will push it over.
