Signature Question For The Mods..

Hi..

I wanted to get feedback from the mods about how to/whether I'm allowed to/ add an additional signature/line to my profile, and how to do it.

As everyone knows, my mom died last Wednesday. I would like to add a signature/phrase to my profile, that says something like "Sheila.. January 19,1938-April 4, 2012.. and then maybe "April 4, 2012, the day my life changed forever".

Is there a way to do that? If so, how do I do it? I know that my Ladderlad signature is large. As much as I love being Ladderlad, I almost think that one means more to me, even if I had to reduce the Ladderlad one, or ditch it.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

That would be fine Mitch, im sure of this. One line of text wouldnt make a noticable difference.

To do it just head to "settings" at the top right, then on the bar on the right, look for "edit signature" you will see a box with the coding for your image in it, place your text on a new line either under or over the rest of the coding. You could put it on the end of the coding too instead of a different line and then I think it would appear next to the image which effectively makes it no larger at all 🙂

Thanks so much, Hari. The new phrase about my mom is just under the Ladderlad siggy, so it isnt disturbing the signature, or anyone's view of it, etc. I just wanted to put something in my profile, to memorialize my mom, once the thread about her passing, now a week long, finally goes to a second page.
