Signature

Hello and sorry for being such a n00b, but I am still having trouble creating my signature. I did follow the instructions of HisDivineShadow and also the advice of Milagros 317, but I still come out with the link or nothing at all. I don't want to start posting before I resolve this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What have you tried? Can you post what you've attempted to make your signature? When you post, put what you used for your signature between two CODE tags, like so:

[CODE]SIGNATURE STUFF HERE[/CODE]

This way, you won't have anything converted to a link or image in the post so we can see what you tried.

I used photobucket to upload signature. When I edit signature, I paste the address into the box that pops up. It views as a link. I tried including what Milagros advised a to adding [img] [/img] and then I get nothing. The link I paste comes from the address bar as I cannot cut and paste from the box with Direct link, HTML or IMG code , my cursor tells me its flash. I appreciate any advice you can provide. I won't be logging back on until Friday Evening as I will be spending the next 48 hours at my work site. Have a nice holiday. [/FONT][/B]

Ahhhh....nope, now I have extra text on JPEG. Definitely a love/hate relationship.

I'm glad you got it displaying, but that image is way too big. Take a look at the signature rules for an idea of what we allow.

So in order to put an image in my signature I have to save it to a website and then copy the link into the URL box?

Yes. You need to use the IMG tags, and place them and the location you have the image uploaded to in your sig section, which you reach from your profile.
