I dont know how to post in blogs, I'm very out of it, and such, and I rarely post about myself anymore, but this, I am going to post, because its about my health.
Over Thanksgiving 2024, I went to visit "T" Which was as it turned out a huge mistake.
I'm not going to go into the details, just the ones affecting my health.
T has a habit of "Throwing me out of his house"
On Friday morning, when T and I awakened, T said he had an upset stomach, I had to leave, and he was calling a car, fine.
The thing is, T, knowing my physical condition, T does things like. "The car is coming in five minutes, leave"
In my haste, my med bag fell out of my case.
When I got home to Queens, no med bag.
I had my BP meds available, and my calming med, but no main seizure med, and no med for the tremors called by my Epilepsy.
Yesterday, I called my main neurologist. "Please send X meds to pharmacy"
Today, I had to run into Manhattan to get my Botox shot
On my way home, I went into the pharmacy, no meds.
It was too late to call any Dr.
So, tomorrow, I am going to physically go over to my Queens Drs office, and get an old time handwritten or print out script, so I can go to the nearest pharmacy and get it taken care of.
My Botox Dr looked very upset. He said. "Mitch, not taking your meds for so many days could have given you a Grand Mal Seizure"
Hopefully, I can get the physical script, and get this ironed out.
Luckily, I am in no pain from my Botox shot.
Hopefully this is just a major bump in the road, and will be resolved tomorrow.
