Sinus Infection has me miserable :(

Just wanted to tell my friends that for past few days I have felt a little under the weather like I had a cold,allergy.. Went to Dr's this morning and come to find out I have a Nasty Sinus Infection which he prescribed Amoycilin for me for a week and he says I am contagious so I am off work until early next week . I feel miserable but I was concerned about the office as the weekends are our busiest days..Office called and they are handling it well,and told me to relax and get well🙂.

I know just how ya feel Hotel,i went through the same thing in June.And the doc is right,take your pills and REST.I tried to work and get better,and it just made things worse,took forever to get over it.Hope ya feel better soon.

I am sorry to hear that you are ill, hotel. Sinus infections are a real pain in the neck. I get them usually about once or twice a year, for a week.
Rest up, and I hope you feel better very soon.

Hope you're feeling better soon! If you have a place near you that sells sage oil, put a few drops in boiling water (or in a pot pouri cooker) and use it as a vaporizer. Sage is great for clearing sinuses.

Thank you Bugman for your response,you had the same thing?So,you know how awful this thing is..I am taking the dr's advice and getting alot of rest,drinking alot of water to not get dehrydrated and I hope the medicine is working..I don;t feel any better than I did last couple days..

Oh...I know how terrible you feel Tickles...I had a double ear infection, an infected throat and also a sinus infection last month that lasted for over a week. I thought it was just a nasty summer cold but when I went to the Dr. he told me about the infections. It took about 10 days for me to get back to normal.

The bad news is you do't feel well, the good news is it should be long gone by end of Oct. Hope you are back to normal very soon!!!

Laurie , I hope you start feeling better real soon . get your rest and plenty of fluids . One thing , when I was a kid I used to have very bad sinus and one thing that seemed to clear it out quick was a 1/2 hour dip in the ocean . Ocean water is great stuff ....Salt , Iodine and all kinds on other minerals .
