Six-Month Checkup; Opinions Invited

Monday will mark my first six-months with the TMF.

My posting ratio is 0.83, and I've just recently been bumped up to a "TMF Regular".

Okay, I guess.

So am I good ? Bad ? Cool ? Boorish ? How am I doing ? Any feedback ?

E-mail comments will receive ten times more consideration in my mind than publicly posted comments will.

Do I annoy ? Do I amuse ? Am I ignoring something or someone ? Am I omitting an important procedure I don't realize ? Let me know. Do I at least show good manners ? I know I did come on pretty caustically with another member who was promulgating a not-so-cool (in my mind, at least) idea a month or two ago. I still wonder if that was being cool or being a fool. And so......

If the E-mails are convincing, I'll try to cut back, or increase, or eliminate, or begin, or whatever, as the case may be.

I want to make a good presence here; while not being a big splash, I guess.

My normal participation here is on the weekends and once or twice during the evenings during the week, so I may not respond for several days.

If your post was meant tongue in cheeks I think it's one of the funniest posts I've ever read here.
However, if it was meant to be serious you might wanna get a real check up because you're sounding a lot like mabus.

Hopefully that was meant as a bit of humor. If not, you may want to take a look at your need for approval problem. Posting here is for your benefit, and although it's commendable to want to "fit in" at least to a degree where some people want to interact with you, tailoring your posting style because of their feedback isn't a good idea. Be yourself and let yourself be. Q

I totally agree with what you said. It took me some time to realize it myself, but it is all part of achieving self esteem.
