The main event was really good, and the whole card was pretty decent this week. However, I found the results of the main event predictable. I knew Mark Henry would cost Undertaker the championship and his main event status at Wrestlemania, I just knew it.
The question is, what happens now?
Is Kurt going to realize his victory at No Way Out against Undertaker was a technical fluke and his loss in this week was legitimate and therefore, out of being an honorable champ is going to pull some strings with Teddy Long so theres an Angle v.s Taker III before Wrestlemania? (If they can do it for Rey, because it's a tribute to Eddie, they can do it for Taker because he's a legend and he's retiring.)
Or, is this the end of the road for Undertaker?
It's of interest how they handle this and work it out. The rumors of Mark's retirement after Mania (with or without the championship) give several scenarios to consider.
Was this week just wrestling filler to give Undertaker something to do and work out in-ring, or is this going to be another feud for him (with Mark Henry this time) and now he'll be out of the championship hunt once again and possibly forever?
I'd like to believe he gets one more chance for the reasons I stated and that nothing can disqualify them in the match and everyone is bared from ringside (they've done this sort of thing before).
If the rumors of retirement are true, Mark deserves to go out on top, as the champion, at Wrestlemania.
Just having him be at Wrestlemania doesn't seem good enough, and it's certainly no way to remember the end of his career.
