Oh damn. In reference to the previous threads and a post Myriads made. I forgot, This is the website that allows and encourages Identidty theft, and then wants the person who is wronged to prove so.
I FORGOT the high standards of morality encouraged here,

I promise not to mention morality OR ethics here ever again.

By the way, I said the tapes Bill was selling LOOKED duped. I'm just giving a guy with no business sense a fair warning that perhaps his product was being ripped off.

I'm happy as hell the said businessman wasn't a cop. Because if someone showed him a mudered body he might say prove it was murdered otherwise we're slandering the criminal.

Bill, to you I apologize. By the way I didn't say your vids were cheesy. Home made yes, but there is nothing wrong with that. I do wish your tickling was more tortuous but it's cool. I own one of the Hysterical Squealing vids and I rather like it.
It might not be on the level as Realtickling, Magic Touch and Silver Cherry but it is a good flick. Your girlfriend is gorgeous. (How about an F/F vid eh?) The price was fair, and when I received the video last year Bill sent a handwritten not allowing me to get any other video he sold for something like 5 bucks. Even his new ones. I didn't take him up on it, but I thought the offer was kind.


Again sorry to everyone in here for trying to do the right thing. And tell a vid producer to conduct his own investigation. I forgot the attitude is generally if they want to lose weight they'll tell YOU to exercise,

No this is the website that allowed a user to question the veracity of another user, and then when that claim was not backed up with any form of verifiable proof we moved on. You never made your case. All you made was an empty accusation. For all I know you may have been right (and you probably were). But thats it, I could never know. I got no proof. If I did, I would have taken immediate action without another thought.

I'd love to run this place based on implicit trust of every members words. It's not possible. People will (and have) attempted to use the forum as a platform to further their own agenda's and some of those agendas are not exactly honest ones. How to sort the 'good whistleblowers' from the bad 'hurt random people' folks?

It's not a simple balance to find.

We allow users to make claims about other users here, it's part of the idea of allowing open debate. But when they do make such claims, we also require that the person making the claim can back it up. The burden of proof is on the accuser. Innocent until proven guilty. Got a issue? PROVE IT. Then we'll talk about taking action.

Debate and accusation here must come with support. It's a simple concept.

And lastly:

I and this forum have never encoraged identity theft, and I have worked pretty hard against it since being placed in charge here. It's one issue that we have always have been responsive to. Any claim of it is investigated. We are in the process of spending a good deal of coin, time, and energy, to answer just such issues in our chat room right now. So that's a serious accusation to be tossing about. Especially since it arises from our only member who ever published his user ID and password on the open forum. It makes you the one user of long standing whos words must always be questioned, as we are never sure exactly who is using your account.

I too moderate, and if someone says an identity is stolen I take it VERY SERIOUSLY. Whether the accuser has proof or not that identity gets removed until it's established beyond a shadwow of a doubt But golly gee I guess that's what moderation isn't about eh? Prorecting those who might be victims of someone else?

By not doing anything, you condone it Myriads. You might not like thinking so, but it's an argument that has been used in virtually every court, in ever country, from items like War Crimes, to minor items like traffic tickets. Sorry if once again I decide morality and common sense should come into play.

And actually, Trish was going to supply your proof in form of a Show Cause Letter delivered with a sub poena. Or wouldn't that have been good enough for you?

Sorry man, you seem like an ok guy but maybe you ought to think your of your responsibities prior to posting a pic or an identity, especially since they're coming from YOUR ISP and that makes you legally liable.

Your account was used to post with at least twice by people other then you. We removed them.

I'm pleased to hear that you moderate a web community that does not contain a componant that is activly attempting to undermine it. Here I've been faced with a set of people who like to use the communities rules against it. I've received claims that about two dozen of the images in the members section are 'not the people' This includes images of some people I have met 🙂

I have chosen to protect the people who have chosen to join this community first. That's the responsibility that comes with moderating the TMF. My interests lie here first. I'm not moderating the world, only the TMF. If at any time a person steps forward with a claim about a image or users post here, and can back it up we'll happily remove the image. It's happened three times in the user images forum. As I said above, it's the accusers job to prove the case. Why? because without proof all we have is accusation. Anyone can create an online ID an say whatever. Back things up, and then you get results.

I choose to wait until I have proof of claim. I'm not a shoot first, then check the facts sorta guy. I like to see if the target is really one that should be hit. I condone the rights of the users to not have to defend themselves from attacks without basis over them needing to prove themselves to anyone who comes forth with the slightest question of their idenity. You've decided YOUR morality and YOUR common sense should come into play. Unfortunatly you are on a forum where MY morality and MY common sense make the rules. Am I right? Who knows? But it matters little now does it? As until I'm sacked, or resign from the position my choices are the ones that the place operates upon. Love 'em or leave 'em... Or even debate them. Perhaps I'll change my mind if the case is good. It's happened several times.

It would have been more then enough, though a bit of overkill. A simple URL of additional images, or a different image mailed to me would have done the job in confirming the image theft. It's not a difficult bit of proof that was requested.

We are well aware of our legal responsibilities regarding image postings. I've even spoken to lawyers about them. My responsibility ends with the disclaimer that the forum carries in it's fac statements. Legaly I need do nothing without proof. To claim an image is stolen from you, you first need to prove it's yours. As i said, in your case this was never done. If it had been the image would have vanished in a second.

As to being an Ok guy.... Nah. I'm mearly adequate.
