A word of explanation for you younger folks...

Snidely Whiplash was a cartoon villian featured in the old "rocky and bullwinkle" show. He used to get his jollies by tieing damsel's in distress to the railroad tracks in order to get them to either sign over their property... marry him... or just for the hell of it. The hero... Dudley Do-Right, would come in to save the day... and more often than not... screw things up. A small pic is included.
