Er... those examples are not "first person." They're third person. "Tight" third, but definitely third-person. Rewriting those bits in first person would give:

I'd guess that what makes them click for you is that they are written in tight-third-person from the point-of-view of the 'lee, with good descriptions of what the 'lee is feeling and thinking, as well as what she's seeing.

And at the risk of being shamelessly immodest, I'll recommend my own tickle-stories. I don't do f/f, but I do do m/f, and I've been told that I do manage to get across the squirmy feel of being tickled.
