Oh it's happy and healthy alright, and beautiful-I lived there for 8 lovely years. Married my own little Newhart, and I miss the people and the foliage.

BUT: it is so boring you will go watch trees grow just for something to do. It ain't even vanilla, it's maple. Yes there are fun winter sports, but good lord, if you're from a larger town (I'm a New Yorker) VISIT-don't move, or you'll be hitting yourself upside the head with a hammer for the change of pace 😱

Interesting list. I'd like to hear what the TMFers in Conn. (Ray and Tracy, Ann and Drew, JPie1, etc.) think about this, since Stamford-Norwalk, Conn. is both healthiest AND safest! Maybe that's why so many there are into tickling. 😀

Alexander...I happen to live in that safe and healthiest town area! I am really surprised to see we made the top on the list. I do warn that we are probably high up there in cost of living too! Personally I have been very happy here since moving here 9 years ago with my hubby. I like the area as it is still close to my beloved NYC (where I grew up) and there are alot of cultural and diversified things to do. I live, love, work and laugh here.
