Question for fellow foot lovers! Soles and foot bottoms mean the same thing, but do you prefer one or the other?
"Soles" is quicker to type and read, yet I've seen "foot bottoms" written out in stories, and there's an entire thread called "Foot Bottoms" here in this subforum. Does one just sound better to you? Does a certain type of foot call for one or the other? How does this factor into the context of tickling - if at all - for you?
I don't think I've heard either too many times by vanilla people, as I assume most just say "feet", or at the most, "soles" if talking about anatomy. "Soles" is a very fetishy word among feet people, and I think "foot bottoms" even more so since it's a deliberate choice to use a longer term when a quicker one is available.
Lately, I've found "foot bottoms" much more appealing, and I've been a "soles" guy all my life. I also think longer, curvier, higher-arched feet seem more "sole-ly" as opposed to feet that are - I don't know - more cuddly and silly, but that's just a general feeling and not a rule. Both are ultimately interchangeable.
