These are some of the newer type anime series I really enjoy. Please feel free to add to this list.

Gate.

High School Fleet. Four episodes so far. The new episode is usually every Saturday around 2 PM Eastern Time.

If this makes any sense: I love anime but I hardly ever watch it. The style, the culture, the content... It's great! But just lump it in with the million other bits of pop culture I need to consume when I'm not so busy.

Anyway, I did recently binge all of Death Note, which was fucking awesome! I enjoyed going between the original and English dub, haha.

And growing up I was introduced to Vampire Hunter D back when the Sci-Fi channel had anime on the weekends. That freaked me out when I was, like, 9! And I have vivid memories of a short film called Robot Circus that I'm pretty sure aired on Sci-Fi as well.
