Some new Characters

I've made some scetches of new characters (sory again for using camera ). I hope you like them.
Last time I tried to draw a girl, many people said that her face was ugly. Please, tell me, is this one better? And what do you think of other characters? And, of course, shall I make a tickle pic featuring the girl?

Since you specifically asked about faces...

One common "kiddish" error is to draw eyes too close to the top of the head. Eyes actually come about *midway* between the top and bottom of the head - believe it or not.

Look at the attached graphic: The head on the left is from a recent drawing of mine (bondage, not tickling). Note how the eyes are half-way between the top & bottom of the head (not counting extra padding for hair).

Now look at the distorted head on the right. I moved the eyes to one-quarter from the top, and the nose to near the half-way point. See the difference.

I found your previous illustrations quite pleasing, Baboon. They were full of energy and invention, and I didn't think the girl was particularly unpleasant looking at all. These new sketches indicate you've made a great deal of progress with your art! The constuming works well (as indeed it did for your earlier fantasy figures) and lady is quite fetching! I'm most eager to see her in a tickling situation! I hope you try another comic scenario. The last one (that much of it we got to see) inspired you to some creative situations!

Yes, much better. 😀

Nothing wrong with a cartoonish style, but IMHO it's better to be aware of what the realistic proportions are, & how you're departing from them when you do a cartoonish style. (AKA being able to truthfully say "I meant to do that.")

Nice work and was even better when you tried the suggestion sablesword gave you. I know they are the hardest things to draw but you should also work on improving the facial details in your sketches. If you can post some colored ones that would be nice because color adds depth and life to a sketch.

Unfortunatly, I havent drawn color pics for a very long time. I'm always afraid that I'll spoil the pic (because that already hapened several times), and I even dont have any coloring tools. Maybe, I should try to do it in something like Photoshop...
Anyway, I think I'll get to color pics sometime 🙂 .

Here's a little comics picture about them... The lich is not a new character, he already appeared in my previous pictures.

Here's what the pic is about:
First of all, the lich is not a maniacal Dr. Evil, but just a normal person, who doesnt plan (yet) to get world domination. One of his hobbies is collecting artifacts - and some people, including the young sorceress, think that he needs artifacts to get power and to destroy humanity. So the girl wants to steal one of the lich's new artifacts - the Crystal Sphere. In fact, she doesn't even know, that the only thing that the Crystal Sphere can do - is to give light. 🙂

Eh... I've drown a tickle pic with the girl already, but I havent posted it yet because it's little bit dirty, and i dont have enough time to clean it on PC or redraw it... But i can post the scetch here, if you find it ok.

Well, any skeleton with a hood would remind of Skeletor... it's over 25 years old, it's part of the imagery, by now.
