Audiences are fickle. I know I am, when I'm part of the audience. So I just try to smile and take it when I'm the author or artist - enjoy it if a piece of mine turns out to be unexpectedly popular, and just let it slide if I write something and it sinks without a comment.

I think people do care a lot, if you look at the amount of views threads here get, its still quite high. I think the lack of comments just come from people running out of things to say. I check almost all new art posts here, but since I am not an artist I struggle to explain what it is I like and dont like about the work, so it feels stupid just posting this is "really good" "awesome" etc on every thread.

I've had my eye on things for a while now, and it seems like TT has indeed been becoming much more like TMF in its reception of art. Nobody really seems to care. The artists pour their hearts and souls into things and they get a few "ok nice" responses while the clips made by people who just want your money get gushing praise over and over again.

But Chesh's words up there make it clear his feelings: Disappointment. Bella Donna already quit thanks to the ingrates who can't bother to make the artists feel appreciated.

Good work people. Good hustle. keep it up and there won't be anybody drawing for you anymore.
