Some Poser 7 Tests

I've been messing around with Poser 7 for the past little while. Here are some of the results. These are mostly re-worked pics I quickly tweaked to put together some test shots.

I really don't care for whatever that program those models are made in....it just looks so.....scary.

Can you tell me whats scary, specifically? Facial expressions or do the models look so unreal that its scary? I'm very interested and maybe I can make a change or two as I'm working on the tribute pic again right now.

Yeah, I know. I hardly ever post here, so who cares what I think, right?

Anyway, overall the images are fantastic. I think what Timewarp was referring to as "scary" were the models expressions. I'm assuming you were going for a playful evil look, but some expressions seem downright demonic. In the second series, the blond in the pictures had a vacant, almost zombie-like expression.

Other than that, I thought they were incredibly well done. I liked the poses and the activities going on in the pics. The expressions on some of them just need to be softened a bit. And that's my $0.02.

Looks pretty good! I haven't bought P7 yet, still playing with Vue6i and Max 9.

I'm in the process of upgrading my Mac so I can get Poser 7... what are your initial impressions of it?

Hey I always did like your stuff. My favorite of your tests is the one where the ticklers wear nylons one suggestion though, put the ticklee in a nylon bodystocking or even just stockings. Thanks for the great stuff you submit. You have real talent. -Bob

Poser 7 is pretty good. Has problems loadingand then rendering p6 files:
(you need to load your p6 files and resave them in p6 without external binaries)

The renderer is otherwise great - much much faster. Sometimes the firefly gives trouble and renders grey. If you do a p4 render that will clear the problem (usually) and the firefly render will work ok. Much the same as p6 so far is everything else (a yoda moment somehow - pah, leave it in I will) but theres probably much more once I get into it.

Definitely worth getting. Espesh as I got it for free (with my p6 upgrade - and I didnt enen know it!).

I'm doing another render now and its working slowly but in a way that p4, p5 and p6 would never have managed without crashing. One of these days I'm going to leave it overnight to max out everything. If I can ever spare thre processing time.

Anyway, buy it if you can.
