Happy Hannukah and Merry Christmas to all.
Hope everyone has great holidays.
One thing I've noticed.
People receive Christmas gifts at all ages.
In regard to Hanukkah..
It seems like people don't receive Hanukkah gifts past.. maybe college years.
I'm sorry if maybe this seems like a generalization, but it just seems this way.
I have one close friend who is Jewish, and another close friend who is Catholic. \
My Jewish friend says he has not received a Hanukkah Gift probably since.. college.
My Catholic close friend is a few years younger than I am. (In his mid 40s). He still gets and gives gifts to everyone. Family, friends, etc.
I'm Jewish, as most people who know me on this forum are aware.
I have not gotten a Hanukkah gift since I was in my 20s.
My parents would usually give me a Hanukkaah gift, usually cash, until , college years,, and then not after that.
Do people find this to be a generalization, or true?
Thoughts?
