So what do you consider to be the songs of the decades? Perhaps your favorite tunes from that era, or maybe the ones who best summarize your memories and experiences for those years? Picking one song alone to represent each decade would be impossible for anyone, so I'm selecting my top 3 for each era.

I'm starting with the 70's since that is the decade I was born....

So Far As

Carole King, I prefer Tapestry to Too Late. Too Late is specfic whereas Tapestry is timeless.

My life has been a tapestry

Damn near impossible to name ONE song from each decade though!! You could post about a dozen times and still be going, although I don't think you can change American Pie or Over The Rainbow.... Q
