Hey since i haven't been here in awhile and haven't posted a thread in awhile. is there any songs that you really get pulled into the mood where you conect to it and it has a special meaning for you? For me there's afew the first one is a song by Burzum called What Once Was and the song title of course has a meaning for me too as i have it on my signature. but the lyrics and music really brings me into the mood and it actually decribes feelings i have towards things. and the other one is also by Burzum called Key to the gate. and the others are
Tourniquet by Marilyn Manson.
Cryptorchid by Marilyn Manson.
Kinderfeld By Marilyn Manson.
Entrance by Dimmu Borgir.
Rebirth by Gorgoroth.
Too young to fall in love by Motley Crue. and there's alot more but i'll just list those for now.

A Change Is Gonna Come-Sam Cooke
Used to love U-John Legend
Love and Happiness-Al Greene

Um...by mood I take it you mean want to dance? I'd go for any good rock/techno song that doesn't put to much emphasis on bursting people's eardrums. ^_~

key to the gate is awesome but id say my favorites would have to be Antarctica and beyond the north waves by Immortal.

hey, try checking out This shit will fuck you up by combichrist, or cornelius by bloody beetroots if youre into rock/techno : )

Depends on what you mean by "mood". 🙂

If I'm all :6: from life and need some self-reaffirmation, then Peter Gabriel's Solsbury Hill or Rush's Limelight gets me feeling pretty good again.

If I'm all pent up and just wanna freakin' 😛unk: I'll usually go with Gutter Ballet by Savatage or Through Fire and Flames by Dragonforce...or the entire 2112 album from Rush.

If I'm feeling all retro and missing the '80's 😛acman: it's usually some REO Speedwagon or Tommy Shaw's grossly underrated Girls With Guns.

If I'm just takin' a :chillpill: then I'll go with some world music like Clannad or Yossou N'Dour

If I wanna romance my baby :37: I usually whip out The Way You Love Me by Rik Emmett.

And if I'm really :sifone: it's gotta be albums...Led Zeppelin's IV, Marillion's Misplaced Childhood or my all-time favorite stoner album...the little heard but totally mind-blowing Caress of Steel from Rush.

Aye, it depends on the mood.

For rocking out, there are a fuckton of songs that can get me to rock out or spontaneously bust out horribly-sung lyrics alongside them. Most anything by Fozzy, We Are One by 12 Stones, Side of a Bullet by Nickelback, Indestructible by Disturbed, [F] (or just F, I really don't know) by Maximum the Hormone (Japanese band, did the second intro music for Death Note), Invincible by Pat Benatar, Through the Fire and Flames by (oh like you don't know) Dragonforce, and I could just go on and on.

For more moody or emotional pieces, Where the Brave Belong by Chinchilla and P5hng Me A*wy (the Reanimation remix of Pushing Me Away) by Linkin Park pull me in.

Love and... sort of mixed emotions, anything from Cher gets me down that route (The Power, Believe, Love is the Groove, etc. basically her whole Believe album), and Always by Frank Sinatra.

Then there are songs that I just don't know exactly how they pull me in, they just do, maybe for various reasons or maybe for one I just can't fully comprehend. Empty Walls by Serj Tankian, Full Moon by Sonata Arctica, have a Nice Day by Bon Jovi, Hello Zepp from the Saw series, Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin, and Pull Me Under by Dream Theater.

My tastes are widely varied as if it isn't obvious. I get VERY into the music that I listen to.
