After a degrading hazing practice and humiliating 'Hell Week', certain pledge's to the prestigious Tau Kappa Lambda sorority endure one final indignity - the designated pledges sit in the sorority lounge, publicly exhibiting their bare soles and soliciting votes in favor of their membership from the sorority sisters. Sadly for the pledges, the votes are recorded by writing on their ticklish soles! Even worse, the pledges in question are not 'in' on the ultimate joke - they invariably are the bitchiest (if often also the prettiest) pledges ...and their membership application have already been rejected!!!
The entire process is simply one final indignity for the amusement of the sorority sisters! At the end of the day, the designated pledges will 'present' their soles for ritual inspection - and the sergeant-at-arms ticklish tally. The clueless pledges are then advised that they have been rejected for membership and are expelled immediately - shocked and barefoot - into the night!
