Sorry Broncos and Packers

Tonightt was a great night. My fav team in the NFC beat the damn Pack. Not just beat them...shame them. Oh and Peyton Manning loses again. Huzzah I see the Falcons beating Seattle and losing to the Niners in the championship. But then I thought the Redskins would win it all.

I'm not a huge NFL fan at all, but I watched some of the pre-game on Sky Sports last night and one of the analysts was saying 'Aaron Rodgers has the experience, he's won a Super Bowl, and so Green Bay are favourites'. Talk about predictions going wrong!

I hardly listen to analysts. They always over-hype and dramatize everything. One of them said the Broncos were huge HUGE favorites. They were only 9.5 points favorites (not exactly HUGE imo). 14.5 then we start talking HUGE. The Denver defense cost them the game, plain and simple. When you have a lead with under a minute to play and the other team has zero timeouts and needs a ton to score and leave a guy so wide open he has to wait on the ball.. well then you deserve to lose. Peyton will take blame because he's the QB, and yes, he did make some mistakes. But everyone knows the defense lost this game.

And personally, I'm tired of all the talk over RG3. It's all a media frenzy-politics game in an attempt to get Shanahan fired. These are grown men on the field and they know the risks involved. Back in the 70s guys played with broken arms while on the field and won super bowls. I'm over it. It's called pro football. I hope RG3 is good to go next year and I wish him the best of health.

Good luck to the teams left. Everyone expects a Niners-Pats bowl now. I guess we'll see.

Everyone was saying that the Packers were going to beat the 49ers. I have no idea why. We beat them first game of the season. And we didn't just beat them too... We beat them just as badly. Both of our Quarterbacks beat the Packers. I watched ESPN's show earlier in the week about the next set of games and 2 out of 3 said the Packers would win. 2 out of 3 on the CBS post game show said the Packers would beat the 49ers, and 3 out of 5 on the Fox pregame show said Packers were going to win. I hope they all had fun eating their words. History repeated. We were the number 2 seed, beat them already in the regular season. We got Justin Smith back. I don't know why all them were hating. But that's history... looking forward to the Falcons game. And hopefully the Ravens win over the Patriots. Stupid Texans couldn't beat them, blah.
