Should be the front page headline on
www.wpvi.com.
The top story on Jim Gardner's 11pm news tonight, and the front page headline on the WPVI website, states that multiple credible sources have stated that the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino will close in Sept, which would make it the fourth Atlantic City casino to close this year.
Atlantic City is falling like a house of cards. (No pun intended). The problem seems to be, a still soft economy, too many casinos competing for business in Atlantic City, and the presence of casinos, in places where many people who used to gamble in Atlantic City, are from, like Philadelphia, and New York City, make Atlantic City's casino situation very difficult.
To me, if the news about Trump Plaza closing is true.. that would be the most dramatic closure to hit the Atlantic City casino industry
