Stage Announcement

I one time was playing at a club that had two really pretty girls working the bar, a brunette and a blonde. Belly shirts. Long gorgeous hair. It was one of those types of places.

So when I was making some stage announcements early in the show, doing my "tip the bartender" rap - just to put it out there in people's minds, I said (going through the "rules" of behavior).... remember to tip....shut the fuck up when we're playing... "...and don't tickle the bartenders." lol.

The audience snickered and laughed. The hotties were working the bar and were busy so they may not have heard the comment, I was watching to see if either would react to just having that suggested.....they were serving customers, though.

But I dug that the audience liked the idea! The rest of the night, I'll bet anybody who went up there to get a drink thought about it.... 😉

I was a bartender for 13+ years, and I never was able to grab a mic to announce it, so I just tried to lead by example and do it....but only when I worked with the female tenders. Lol
