Dear Linda,

I once read a science fiction story where beings from another star system communicated by poking and tickling each other. If the Enterprise met up with beings like that, how do you think you'd do as Communications Officer trying to converse with them? Would you be able to keep a straight face or would it simply be too ticklish for you?

A belated welcome to the Forum, by the way. I can tell you will contribute a lot around here.

I did not send to Roxann too (even though she is also a real cutie and her Star Trek character SO deserves a good tickling), because I'm trying to seem as "normal" as possible to the moderators over there. TWO tickle questions from the same guy would be pushing it, I think. (I also didn't think of a natural question regarding her character.)

What is truly sad is that it appears that "Q" is not going to be a part of the 4th and Final Star Trek TNG Movie.

It is both amazing and disappointing that Q was left out of ALL 4 TNG motion pictures.

Sorry if I sound facetious here, but in case you're not a Trekkie (I'm not, but I do know about this) the "Q" TTD's talking about is not the same character as the one in the James Bond movies (and anyways, the actor who used to play him is dead, sad to say)

According to the transcript, they did not use my question. Bummer. The whole interview seemed pretty straight and was geared to a Star Trek audience.
