Yes I'm a Trekkie, on occasion. I lose interest for years at a time, then suddenly become obsessed for short periods. Probably my longing for a fantasy Utopian existence when we all live at peace and actually progress as a species :snort:

I haven't seen a server list yet, but I'm on it. It goes online in 3 days. Whatever my character name is, the overall name for the account is still Filthyweasel. Game seems to go by that for the social networking.

Pretty fun so far. The on-foot stuff is a little basic, but the space stuff is more fun than a barrel monkeys on shrooms.

Haha if I could ever find it, and if it was ever compatible with Windows 7. That game is pretty old now. 🙂

I'm serious...don't try STO. It looks pretty but that veneer wears off real quick.

Yeah, it's actually pretty bad. Unless you're so super casual that you can only play for a few hours a week.

I was incredibly close to buying this game, but when I found out it had a subscription fee attached to, I said fuck this and bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 instead.

I'm actually quite enjoying myself in the game. I've joined a pretty cool fleet (most of which are on the West coast which kinda sucks, but oh well) and I've reached the max level on two out of my four characters.

There's the new Galaxy-class refit ship from All Good Things... (mind you, you have to pay good money to play around in it)

Season 2 is due to be out this month, which puts in a decent amount of Klingon content.

Of course, the max level endgame is repetitive but I understand that's the same in all MMO games.

I'm also not a hardcore gamer in it. Like, an hour or so a day unless people from my fleet decide to run one of the end-game STF missions like Infected. Those need some time.
