Recently I had the delight of tickling my step mother again (who I discussed here previously: https://www.ticklingforum.com/threads/step-mums-buried-sand-tickles-m-f.442042/), coincidentally it just so happened to also be on the beach for this story as well. This takes place with me my dad, my step mum and younger sibling chatting, however before I would actually start tickling her, I decided to annoy my younger sibling by using a nearby thin stick to trace their foot, tickling them in the process which greatly annoyed them (which was my goal at the time). After annoying my sibling for like half a minute, my step mum asked about how bad it was (or just asking about it), my sibling decides to demonstrate what I did to them on her foot.
She also grabbed a nearby thin stick and started tracing around her arches with the stick for a few seconds, which caused her to squirm and gasp a bit. Although I was considering also tickling my step mother foot with the same tactic, after seeing my sibling demonstrate my actions, I decided to join in on the fun. Using the stick I used to drag along my sibling's foot to annoy them, I soon did the same on her, scraping it up and down her arches, dragging it across her soles and scrubbing it between her toes. She gave a more intense reaction than my younger sibling, squirming and gasping at the ticklish sensation caused by the pointy tool, which was especially prominent around the region between the toes.
If I kept tickling with this tool, I'm sure she would have easily cracked up laughing, however I decided to switch things up. I switched the thin pointy stick with a more thicker stick which didn't have so much of a pointed end to tickle her with. It was certainly less effective, likely due to a lack of a point end (or at least that's what I hypothesize), it was still ticklish for her when I dragged it around her arches, however when moving to the ball of her foot the light tracing sensation of the thicker stick was more so pleasurable than ticklish. I asked her about it while I was tickling her with her noting that for the experience that area was the least ticklish and that she had really ticklish feet (which I knew already). I ended up simply tracing around the ball of the foot at the end to end the tickling which lasted probably a minute more pleasurable than slightly annoying.
Overall it was a fun time, with my sibling throwing sticks at my dad during this event then once I finished using the thicker stick, grabbing it to stab my feet with it (as I am not that ticklish and they wanted to simulating the feeling of annoyance she had with pain inflicted on me instead 🙄). Nevertheless I learned a bit more on the effectiveness of certain types of tools from this experience and how to tickle my step mum more effectively.
