I live near this place and am going to check it out. Does anyone know if there is a stock set up or any tickling. I am going to check it out hopefully there is some tickling action. If there are stocks there you never know that would be great.

Ten or more years ago they had stocks, but. . .

Ten or more years ago - the last time I visited that RenFair - they had stocks. I have not been back since so I would not know.

If the web site is no help, give them a call, as that's how I found out before I attended.

I was at the NY RenFair two years ago. They had the head and arm stocks, but nothing for the feet. It was located in a small courtyard near the jousting arena.

And as soon as one of the costumed performers see someone going into the stocks, they will pounce on you immediately to ANNOY THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS out of you. Well, that was my perception, anyway.

Hey reddog, the last time I saw any tickling there was over 10 yrs ago. They did have stocks set up and a renfaire worker was put in them and people could walk up and tickle her. You could hear her across the whole fair grounds, lol. They had feathers and wooden forks for the choosing. The place changed a bit in time. I usually go once every year and have for the past 16 yrs. I'm glad they brought back the mud pit.

Maybe we'll have to ask somone there this year.😉

No stocks (just head and neck pillory) any time I've been there and I've been there 2-3 times over the past 10 years and cannot recommend it LESS! Admission price is steep; food, beer, etc prices are as high as the ball park; found it incredibly irresponsible to sell ahlf dead chameleons to kids with no clue how to care for them as "baby dragons" and the "performers" are obnoxious as hell - everything is "tip tip tip" - asked one costumed asshole for directions to a particular venue and he replied "I di not hear, M'lord, perhaps if you'd ring my tip cup?". Can you imagine? And while that's the worst incidence, it's not isolated - everything is "Huzzah the big tipper!".

It is sad that the NY Ren Faire as deteriorated into what was described herein this thread.

Shygirl and I will be going there soon. I will give my assesment of it here afterwards.

I do hope THAT suff was/is a thing of the past and it is more of a civil Faire.

It's listed in my local papers entertainment section...I saw the mud pit and a human chess game mentioned but other than that everything else looks/ sounds pretty b-o-r-i-n-g....I'd have to agree, it sounds like a flop...🙁

Renfaires with tickling action are very rare. I think the only act that regularly features it is Kujman's. (In North America anyway, Marco does the job in Italy.)

If you ever go to one of Kujman's, then you'll love it. The man puts on one hell of a show and is something of a creative genius when it comes to the tickling world.

😕 Kujman never tells where he is going to be. It is ashame because I think he does it in NY or Jersey. I would love to see one of his shows. (I mean it is a life long dream to see one.) He is the man. Anyone know where he performs?

I don't think he performs in any one place in particular, although I don't know for sure.

I think the reason he plays his cards close to his chest is that he trys to remain as private as he possibly can when it comes to his shows.

Yeah , I guess if he announced it everyone would run to the show, and it would be more a tickle event. Imagine what the people would think, maybe he is afraid that people might be turned off by the idea. Well I wish I could see one of his shows.

He does renfaires that are almost exclusively dedicated to foot torture in stocks. A large part of that is tickling, but his shows have roasting and bastinado too. Anyone who wants to look at his work or purchase one of his event video should go to www.ticklepalace.com .
