Our power just came back on...we had a major ice storm..

We didn't have a major ice storm here (that happened three weeks ago). The winter storm left us with about 6 or 7 inches of the white stuff, plus a little sleet on top of that. The roads were rather greasy in places, but basically driveable. All area schools closed, along with a lot of businesses. As I write this, we're experiencing rather nasty winds (sounds like 30-40 MPH gusts), probably the storm's last hurrah.

Not to minimize the things those who got hit with the full force of the winter storm system are now dealing with. Hang in there, people.

We're back, bitches! Back and ready to rock. Internet just showed up this morning. We've got most of the debris cleared were our trees were damaged, and the roads are all passable. Looks like we weathered things pretty well.
