Stories about "tough" but ticklish feet

I've always been fascinated with women who were always barefoot, and could walk on hard rocks and hot pavement with no effect at all. What was fascinating was that a lot of times those tough calloused soles were also ticklish. I can think of a couple examples, but I'll just mention one.

Growing up there was this one cute tomboyish blonde girl in our neighborhood(let's call her Dawn, not her real name) who always walked around barefoot at least in the warmer weather. She would run around the street sans shoes and it didn't seem to bother her. Despite this her feet were still cute

I was friendly with Dawn but primarily just acquaintances, not real close. I would only see her in groups of people and her friends would tease her about her bare feet calling her a hillbilly. It didn't bother her. In fact she used to brag about her "tough feet".

One day she and some other people went swimming at our pool. Dawn was lying, floating on a raft with her soles exposed. I couldn't resist so I simply stroked one finger up, and down her sole. She went absolutely nuts, and fell off her raft. I teased her saying "I thought your feet were so tough". She just smiled but swam to the side and got out.

Later that day I saw another dude(she was much more friendly with him) grab her ankle and started scribbling her sole. She immediately started squirming and laughing begging for him to stop. He stopped after a few seconds, she playfully called him an ahole.

Unfortunately that was one of the last times I saw Dawn, as her family moved out of state.

Does anyone have any stories about tough "outdoor" girls/women who were always barefoot but still extremely ticklish?

I don't have a story of an outside girl, but I did tickle a girl once who's feet were really rough. She was a little older than me, blonde, Albanian. Honestly, I didn't really think her feet were very nice. She has never gotten a pedicure ever in her life nor a manicure. Not sure if thats because shes so incredibly ticklish or because it wasn't her thing. Anyway, her soles were very rough on the bottoms and I can't remember if her toes were painted or not. But I will tell you, the second I so much as poked her foot, she went crazy. Not really laughing or anything, but she was begging and telling me to stop, it really tickles.

If she were pinned down and couldn't escape, maybe she would laugh. But just tickling her freely and spontaneously, not a laugher.

So, this was a gothish chick I know who was basically always barefoot if she could get away with it. Like, midwinter, she was walking around barefoot with no sign of discomfort. Sometimes, when the environment was particularly hazardous, she'd put on sandals, but that was about it. Someone asked her once, and she just said that she'd never liked wearing shoes, even as a child. Some people just don't, you know. It looked a bit odd with her pale feet coming out of her black clothing, especially when she was otherwise full goth and still walking around barefoot, but eh. It takes all sorts.

Oddly enough, I never actually tried to tickle her feet - I think I just assumed, given her feet were seemingly impervious to any kind of enviromental conditions, that they wouldn't be ticklish. Luckily, one of my friends didn't have the same assumptions, and at a picnic, she tried to idly tickle the goth's feet. Immediate yelp and frantic jerk away of her feet. The tickler's eyes lit up, and she grabbed a foot and began tickling with enthusiasm. The poor girl began laughing hysterically while trying to wrench her ankle out of the ticklish grip. Eventually, she managed to loosen it and pulled it away before hiding both feet under her and playfully glaring.

I didn't see any more tickling, but I do remember the tickler gleefully telling her friends about how it turned out that girl was really ticklish, so who knows what happened there? It was still a nice moment, and I'm still a little suprised at just how susceptible her otherwise seemingly invulnerable feet were to tickling.

Man, imagine just how much more ticklish their feet would be if they got pedicures and regularly took care of their feet? Hell, that might be part of the reason why they don't.
