Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!

I wrote a while back about some things, and I wanted to pose a question about a related subject...

I am VERY aroused by "stories" - I love when my girlfriend recounts to me a story about being tickled (e.g. at the doctor, by her campers at camp, etc.). My fetish is of course for tickling - I am crazy about tickling and seeing people tickled, but what gets me the most is "stories." I want to enjoy sexual experiences with my girlfriend without HAVING to hear a story, but I can't help that the most enjoyable experiences are ones during which she is recounting a story. I've heard "fetish" defined as something you NEED for arousal - like a guy with a shoe fetish who needs a woman's shoe with him to get turned on. I don't want to become completely reliant on the story aspect of the fetish or even the tickling fetish. I want to be able to enjoy lovemaking with my girlfriend for the experience in itself. But is that simply contrary to the experience of someone with a fetish? I was wondering if anyone else's experience is the same, or if anyone has any insights about this.

I'm also interested to know if there are any good books out there on fetishism (not books for sexual pleasure, but books that address the topic from an experiential or psychologial standpoint).

Thanks everyone!
Peace,
Dan

Do I sense confusion ?

Please let me address the last part of your post first, because I think it is key to your earlier questions.

<I><B>YouNeverKnow175 wrote:</B>"... My fetish is of course for tickling ... I'm also interested to know if there are any good books out there on fetishism (...experiential or psychologial standpoint)...." </I>

(Warning: high level prejudice about to explode) <B>The answer is "no" !!</B>

First off, the books I've seen on "fetishism" are written by people (at least they call themselves human; their displayed intellect leaves room for question) who apparently have extremely difficult problems in their own minds and evidently want to try to make other people feel more uncomfortable than they feel themselves. As a result, they dredge up these weirdo-most-maximus stories from the fringes of society and then attempt to apply those stories as model (and modal) behavior which dictate mental processes present in <I>your</I> mind when no such concept ever occupied one single neuron in your entire brain.

Secondly, (and I know this throws the frisbee back to the other side of the field) the subject of tickling is markedly sparse and/or absent from these pseudo-scientific books on fetishes. There is a reason for this: tickling isn't a fetish, it's normal natural healthy behavior which has been practiced for longer than anyone here has been alive. The act of reading the ridiculously opinionated space-cadet writings of these moronic pretenders will produce confusion and lowered states of personal self-esteem. In the rare cases where these pseudo-science books do include a reference to tickling, you can bet money that they're playing the game just described in the previous paragraph.

Believe me, reading such books will produce a negative effect in your life.

And no, I'm not a left-wing west-coast liberal.

Read it again: Sex books about "fetishes" are a waste of time at best and can encourage the wrong attitude in a normal healthy person. You don't have that problem, you don't need those books, and I strongly encourage you to steer your mind toward a clearer and cleaner thought path.

And now, some questions

Having just written you (and you, probably having just read) the previous post, I now ask you some pointed questions which may come across as mildly accusative. My hope is that you will <B>NOT</B> take offense at these questions, but will instead be comforted, relieved, and perhaps even (or better yet, hopefully) encouraged to view yourself with a different posture and attitude toward bogus phony wanna'bee shrinks.

<I>Question: </I> Have you had your face in any of those pseudo-scientific books designed to make you feel like a freak ? Did they have documented accounts of golden nutzos from the edge of the universe, and then try to pull your thinking in as if you're one of them ?

<I>Question: </I> Have you been web surfing for sites that do essentially the same thing in a digital form ?

<I>Question: </I> Are you starting to see the difference between those idiots-of-the-universe as opposed the people here on the TMF ?

<I>Question: </I> Do you feel that the people here on the TMF are somehow messed up because they are merely elated at the sights and sounds of the smiles and the laughter of typically photogenically attractive women ? Do you <I>really</I> think that's harmful to society ? If so, should we close down every TV station in America ?

<I>Question: </I> Are you now less confused ?
