I've been watching the weather channel and noticed the nor-easter that's formed and beginning to do it's stuff down south. With the amount of areas that it's expected to hit, I thought it might be cool (no pun intended) to post what it dumps as it progresses up the east coast. If any of you southerners is interested in getting things going, I'd be interested in hearing what you get.

That's a pretty neat idea. It's always fun to listen to people "talk about the weather" when it's real weather at hand.

This far south, we're hard pressed to even know what a nor-easter is!!
We hit a low temperature of 68 degrees today. Sunny, with white fluff ball clouds. *shrug* Snow?? Due in about 6 more years. 😛

LOL That rain you're getting down there is what's coming up to hit us. Unfortunately, unless it stalls and retracks, we're only due to get a couple of inches. (Can you tell I like snow?)

Southeastern CT is due to get between 5-7 inches as this is a coastal storm...I too love the snow! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow.

well its 2:30pm EST, sitting here in my home office in Southern CT looking out the window. There is about 4 inches of snow on the ground by driving is very bad outside, I have seen 3 accidents from my window over looking the street to the side of my house where there is a big downsloping curve. Just waiting for my hubby to come home safe and sound and know I have all my family tucked inside for the rest of the storm. It looks beautiful and I will say its great one all are under my roof! My son is downstairs watching Spiderman the movie that he got for Hanakkuh last night and he is presently jumping from couch to couch like he is spiderman...ah to be 4 years old again!!

Here in Central CT it is now 2:45 and we have about 3 inches on the ground already.(So much for one or 2 ANN 😉 )

Tracy and I were scheduled off today, so I went out early to run errands this morning and am glad I dont have to drive right now. She and I and Robby have been spending a quiet day at home woth lincoln logs, "Reading Rainbow" a good cup of coffee and, of course, the TMF.


Hopefully all that had to be out in this will reach their destinations safely.

Well, lessee here...t'day, in Canada, it's frozen.

Will continue to be frozen for the next 4 months.

What have you people done to me??

My house is now cold. It's dropped to the mid 30's from the 70's overnight! I make onnnne little comment about how nice and warm it is here and BAM...this is what I get? Rain. Non-stop rain! And cold! Coupled with my own kindergarten version of the webslinger bouncing off the walls crying, "Mommy, I wanna go outsiiiiiiide!!!!!!!!!!" He has this toy that somehow squirts water from a doohitchy that wraps around his wrist in the shape of a spider!I just keep mumbling, "Me too baby, I want you to play outside too." 😛

So, since this is nearly Polar for us, we'll use the cold minus the rain to get further into the holiday spirit! Gotta look up ya know! 😀

How long are y'all due to be in snowy conditions? When I was a kid, I always thought that it snowed non-stop in the north! 😉

Well, I just came in from clearing out 9 inches of snow....and it's still coming down! Everything is pretty much shut down. The system slowed once it reached us and is piping in the moisture from the Atlantic to keep itself going. We're due to get another 2-4 before it fizzles out late tonight.

well, finally at 5:30p my husband came home so I was happy that we were all snug in the house. Made a nice hot pasta dinner then some nice home made hot cocoa with real dutch cocoa and not the mix with water stuff. Outside its beautiful, my sons off in bed.

Now I can enjoy winters wonderland!
