Hello everyone. This story takes place in the same continuity as my Billy & Krista series. It doesn’t contain tickling, but it’s an important part in their ongoing story.

I’ve obtained permission from another author to use a couple of his characters, and I’m excited about the merging of our respective worlds.

One final note. This story takes place between Happy Birthday Krista, and The Engagement Party.

Somewhere in California...

It was only days ago that Justin Franklin was a free man. Relatively free anyway. He had been living in California under an assumed name, a fugitive from justice after jumping bail. He’d found work and seemed to have put his past behind him.

Then Krista, his ex, and her new boyfriend Billy fell into his lap. With a day off work he decided to hit the beach and ogle some bikini clad girls. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw them. Laughing, playing, carrying on... the sight of the two young lovers made him sick.

It was their fault he’d ran and left everything behind. His girlfriend, his friends, his family. Who needed them anyway? When he sat in jail all weekend did anyone come bail him out? Screw them, screw them all. All he wanted now was revenge.

So he led them into a trap. Free tickets to the Haunted Maze where he worked, they just had to be stupid enough to walk into it. And they were.

He talked his boss into leaving early, then used the various timed switches to herd them into a dead end. Then he used the secret passageways to get the drop on them and take what was his. Krista belonged to him and he intended to take her.

It almost worked, but Billy pulled some tricks on him. Billy was dead, wasn’t he? He tied his hands behind his back and drowned him, Krista was going to be his again. Justin would make sure Billy died this time. Nobody survives a bullet to the head.

It would work this time. Justin knew it. He waited for his opening, they only sent two guards to transport him from city to county. When the guard turned his back, Justin rushed him, and took the gun. Moments passed in the tussle and he fought and clawed and shot his way to freedom.

It was going to be different this time. This time he had a loaded gun, and nobody knew he was coming. He’d get her parents first. He knew where they lived, he’d made sure of that when he followed them home from the beach.

Quietly he walked down the street in the dark. Avoiding street lights, making sure nobody saw him. He’d get her parents first, then Billy, then her... if she refused him again. If he couldn’t have her, nobody would.

His heart raced, blood rushing so hard that he could hear it. In minutes, he’d start his trail of revenge. He’d get her parents first.

Justin was surprised that the back door was unlocked. “Idiots...” he thought to himself, “didn’t anyone teach you to lock your doors? Especially at night.” The door slid open and he crept in. He didn’t know they layout of the house, but he’d find them in the dark.

He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a voice from behind. “Hello Justin, looking for someone?” It was a woman’s voice, a beautiful voice. The lights came on, and Justin whirled around, temporarily blinded.

“Why don’t you put that gun down? You really don’t want to make me any more angry at you than I already am.” As his eyes adjusted to the light, Justin could see that she was just as beautiful as she sounded.

She stood there, hand on the light switch, her other hand on her hip which was cocked to one side. Her long jet black hair fell along her shoulders, her piercing blue eyes seemed to stare through him as if he was nothing but a nuisance to be dealt with.

Her black leather jacket hugged her curves, but not too tight that she couldn’t move easily. It was unzipped, revealing a form fitting black T-shirt. Her legs were clad in black pants, that were tucked into flat soled leather boots. But out of everything she wore, it was the lightning bolt belt buckle that drew his attention. He glared it it, but even he was unsure why.

“My eyes are up here.” She said, and Justin snapped back to reality, and raised his stolen gun.

“Tell me where they are! Tell me now!” He growled, hands shaking.

“You’ve done enough to Krista, you’re not going to hurt anyone else. I’ll see to that.” Her eyes narrowed like a gunfighter. “So either drop that gun, and get on the floor or I’ll put you on the floor.”

“F*** you!” Justin shouted, and fired, his aim was sloppy and he missed her by several feet.

Before he could get another shot off, she’d turned the lights off. He panicked and shot wild in the dark. The gun clicked, signaling that he was out of ammo. He turned around and around, but he couldn’t see his hand in front of his face.

Suddenly, he felt a boot slam into his gut. The air rushed out of his lungs with a “WOULF!!” He staggered, trying to draw breath, but it came in ragged gasps. A palm strike hit him under the chin, and he went reeling backward. Finally, a leg sweep caught him behind his knees sent him to the floor hard.

The lights came back on, and the last thing Justin saw before he lost consciousness was that belt buckle.

She pressed a button, activating her hidden comm link. “Angela? This is Samantha checking in, I need a team for pickup. Make sure he doesn’t get away.”

“Angela here, I copy partner, E.T.A. one minute, can you babysit until then?”

Samantha Storm rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. “Fine, but make sure my flight doesn’t leave. I’ve got an engagement party to go to.”

Angela Blaze dropped the professional facade and tried to bring a smile to the face of her best friend and partner. “You roughed him up pretty good didn’t you Sam?”

Storm smirked, “I told him to drop the gun.”

“I read the police report, that girl.. Krista... she’s your cousin isn’t she?” Blaze’s voice went from humorous to warm.

Angela remembered a getting a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach when she read the report earlier that afternoon. “That sick bastard, she’s just a kid.” She’d said during the briefing.

It was bad enough when Samantha got tortured on a mission. But she was a highly trained professional spy with an unbreakable will. Krista was a scared nineteen year old girl. Blaze would do her part to make sure he got what was coming to him.

“Yeah... my favorite little cousin.” Storm’s mind flashed back to her childhood. To the happy little blonde girl who idolized her, and followed her everywhere.

Krista, who was terrified of her bicycle after falling off and skinning her knee. Learned how to ride after her big cousin showed her how.

Krista, who begged her big cousin to put lipstick and eye shadow on her because she wanted to be twins.

Krista who dressed as Supergirl, convinced her big cousin, a high school junior to take her trick or treating dressed as Wonder Woman.

Krista who was all grown up, and who had met a guy who would die for her, and was about to get engaged.

Samantha wiped away a tear, she hadn’t seen her cousin in years, but somebody had to keep the world safe from scumbags like the one unconscious at her feet. She briefly considered using that gun to put him down like a rabid dog, but that was too easy.

The pickup team arrived and cuffed a still unconscious Justin. The metal cuffs fit like gauntlets around his arms. His legs were cuffed in a similar fashion, and he wasn’t going to go anywhere unless they let him.

“Up you go sleaze bucket.” One of them said, as they lifted him as easily as they would a child. “So what are we doing with Mr. Franklin?” The other one said, spitting out Justin’s name as if it tasted bad.

“You read the briefing, he’s escaped custody already. I want him watched by two armed guards 24/7. Angie is going to be handling him until I get back. Are we clear?”

“You got it Sam.” The first guard said, and they carried him away. By the time she was finished, he’d wish she shot him. Justin was soon going to find out what happened when you crossed Samantha Storm.

To find out what happens next, read The Engagement Party. Then come back here for the Epilogue.

She’s not typically the nylon type, but in this instance she was wearing black knee high nylon socks. [emoji41]
