I noticed that my shorter 'Short Stories' got more viewers and replies than my longer ones.

So please tell me, do you prefer real short stories wich go right into the action without a real plot, or do you prefer longer stories which build up the tension and describe the atmosphere as well?

Thanks for your opinion!

Both when reading them and when writing them, I like the longer stories with a plot.

I am reassured that you look at the data (replies and views) of your own stories. I was afraid that I was the only person who did that.

I got the most views (over 7,000) to a relatively short non-fiction story, "The Session (F/m)," but the most replies (6 from other people) and the second highest number of views (over 4,000) to a relatively long fiction story, "Sisters (F/m)."

But don't ask me what that means.

A long story is good, but all stories NEEDS to have a plot and NEEDS to be good.

Thats my view anywho

I find that if the long stories don't have a very good plot and convincing theme, they lose my attention fast. If people are in a more stimulated mood though they might prefer a story that "cuts to the chase" so to speak, but plot is still important and it has to be convincing. Just my humble opinion.

Interesting opinions, thanks!

Of course we have to compare a GOOD action-only-story with a GOOD plot story. The question (foleymnufc hit the nail) is: Do you consider an action-only-without-plot story good? 😕

milagros: Naturally I check the response to my stories, as any writer would. Just as all artists NEED some applause, all writers want their stories to get read, and they need some feedback. I really appreciate yours, even if I must confess that I'm much too lazy to provide feedback myself (shame on me!). 🙂

It doesn't matter to me! No wonder I make a lousy writer. 😀

for me it depends on how much time I have to read the story. 🙂 sometimes I only have a few minutes and the shorter stories are perfect for those times, but I do like to know a little bit about who and why they are tickling.

for the most part, I look for a title or author I find interesting with a f/m or m/f theme. if I am short on time but the story really grabs me, I will save it and go back to it later with a little more time and a glass of wine. 🙂

whether or not I respond seems to depend on time too. there have been quite a few stories I really enjoyed and never responded to.

i have posted many stories......
a series about females wrestling/tickling
the stories are ussually long but have a good plot, i noticed lately my stories even the long P.P.V. events got no response, maybe i was attacking the tickling story from the wrong angle..........
???????????

As far as plot lines go, it doesn't matter as long as they are well written. I like stories that have "meat" to them. Specifics about how the girl is being tickled, her mental/emotional status while being tickled and what type of bondage is being used.
