Personally I don't. I also try to spend a significant amount of time during the editing process. If I miss a typo or something and just happen to catch it at a later date, I fix it in the post though.
If, however, I'm at a state later in my life where I'm very unhappy with something I wrote and I want to do something about it, I pretty much just do it again from the ground up, using the first as a reference. Can't think of a lot of times where I've done that, though, and usually the two stories are very different in a lot of ways anyway.
I'm usually unhappy with anything that's more than a year or two out from now, though. Being fickle sucks.
