Well, since I'm not too far from reaching 1000 posts on here, I figured it was about time I did one of these here profiles and formally introduced myself to the TMF.
So far the majority of my posts have been in the General Discussion and Silly Stuff forums, so if you frequent those, chances are you've seen me post there.
I'm Drew. I have been a longtime lurker here on the TMF for a number of years, even before I turned 18 (sue me). It was only until very recently that I started posting more. However, as previously stated I've mostly stayed in the General Discussion and Silly Stuff forums. I'm still a little bit shy about my fetish and am slowly working towards becoming more active on all the other boards that actually relate to tickling. I do, however, actively read and enjoy many of the threads here and I'm starting to become more and more comfortable with coming out of my shell. Hell, it took me the longest time just to put my picture up!
I'm currently 24 years old and I work full time doing overnight recovery at a retail store. The hours seem to be too crazy for most people, but it suits me just fine. Plus the work is simple enough, there are no customers to bother me, and the people I work with are awesome. I do occasionally have to work a day shift every now and then, but I'm still able to do my thing without getting harrassed by customers much, so it's all good. I've lived in San Francisco my whole life and honestly couldn't imagine living anywhere else. But who knows what the future holds, right?
I consider myself to be pretty laid-back, with a sense of humor that's all over the place. While I'm largely goofy and a bit of a dork, my sense of humor can be downright nasty and offensive at times (Helen Keller jokes, anyone?). Despite that, I've been told I'm a really nice and sweet guy, so I guess I'm not so bad. 😀
I am very much into music, and a great deal of my time is spent listening to music and looking for new artists and albums to check out. I don't sing, rap or play an instrument or anything myself, though. I can appreciate more or less any kind of music, but I'm mainly into hip hop (no, not Soulja Boy or most of that other shit on the radio) and old school R&B, soul and funk (don't let my pigmentation fool you). I also listen to a decent amount of classic rock. I can't really get into country aside from older shit like Johnny Cash, and I haven't been exposed to too much jazz and blues to consider myself a fan. I like what I have heard for the most part, though.
I love all different kinds of movies (even old black-and-white movies), but especially gangster and crime dramas. The Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino, Scarface and Carlito's Way are just a few favorites. I have a fascination with the Mafia and organized crime in general and I love movies and books that deal with that whole subject and lifestyle, especially if it's a true story.
Now, for the part you've all been waiting for (that is, if you're not already bored and still reading this). What am I doing here on the TMF?
Well, growing up I was always fascinated (and/or turned on) by damsel-in-distress scenes in movies and cartoons where beautiful women get captured and tied up. I also loved seeing women's bare feet. Like many others on here, my introduction to tickling was triggered by the classic TMNT episodes with Don Turtelli (particularly the one involving April). That scene just stuck in my head and never left. I was lucky enough to play tie-up-and-tickle games with my female cousin (who was the same age) over the course of a few years when I was a kid. We were both TMNT fans and would often play games where she would be April and I would be the bad guy who tied her up....and then tickled her. I sadly wouldn't get to repeat these kind of games until years later, when I was with my now ex-girlfriend. She was a very willing participant and was very ticklish. Since I was in a relationship with her, tickling also became more sexual and not just a playful thing. I guess I'm somewhere in the middle of that debate, like I'm sure quite a few others are on here. Unfortunately, that relationship ended a couple years ago and I haven't had a session since. I define myself as a 'ler, but I could switch for somebody special (I switched for my ex a couple times). In terms of what kind of tickling I like to watch, it's strictly F/F and M/F for me. I don't like seeing guys get tickled at all. I've noticed that I seem to enjoy F/F the most, especially if they take turns.
As far as how I FOUND the TMF, I remember being a teenager with a new computer and almost no experience with the Internet. After learning that you can search for virtually anything on the Internet, I typed in things like "tie-up games" and "tickling". The rest is history.
