This issue of TALES is a fantastic way to celebrate 300 publications! It is literally crammed full of amazing artwork and fiction...the "Pits/Buttons/Soles" section alone is an embarrassment of riches.

Others have said this, but it bears repeating: Jim has done something truly remarkable with MTJ Publishing, bringing some very talented creatives and allowing each to pursue their unique style & vision. And I think for those of us who remember what it was like in the pre-internet days, his accomplishment has a special meaning. I'm very glad to have been & continue to be a part of it, and to have had a chance to work with some of the folks represented in this issue.

Congratulations, Jim! Now let's get to work on the next 300! 🙂

Ooooooooooooh!

**fireworks exploding overhead**

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

My name is Bandito. And I’m an Asylum addict. Cuz I freaking LOVE Tales from the Asylum!

This is a really amazing collection of art and fiction. For cereal. I don’t even really know where to start. But I’ll start anyway.

I really feel like the quality of art is just mind blowing. It’s all good. It’s all great. But there’s a couple pieces that really rang my particular bell:

Umojar: holy qwak-o-MOLEY! Your art work is sensational in this publication. And is that a topless pic from you??? Wowy. I dig it. Seriously terrific work here.

Darkharp: You know how much I adore your work...and these images were no different. That Sheriff Annie image...O.O!!!! Blew me away. You’re a fantastic artist. The images in this publication are beyond sexy.

And like I said...I think ALL the art in here is spectacular.

The writing: I gotta say that the writing here might be the best of any I’ve read in a long loooooooooooooong time. And once again - I know this is all my personal humble opinion...but man o man there are some incredible stories in here.

With all of it so amazing, it’s hard to pick a favorite...Colin’s stories were worth reading TWICE! And I have to say that Annie Hall’s story was so sweet, and sexy, and just...damn good. I compliment ya Annie. Amazing stuff.

Okay - I’ll stop gawking now. But if you haven’t bought TALES FROM THE ASYLUM #31 yet, you really should. It is so good.

Please keep it up, Jim. And congrats again on 300 publications.

You all rock,

The Deet

Great job to everyone who contibuted to this! It's a must-buy for all who look at this forum.

Thanks buttontickler! I'm glad that you enjoyed it :boogie:

Colin,

It's hard to believe that this is our 300th publication and that 12 years have sped by since we first set out on this adventure together. It's been a remarkable experience and my absolutely favorite part has been working with so many talented, imaginative, and truly outstanding people.

Thank you for the kind words my friend. 😀

Bandito,

You know who else rocks? ... :yourock:

as does the Mistress of Colors the one and only White Lotus!

Thank you both for all of your support, hard work, and friendship.

Jim

What a wonderful collection! It's wonderful to see what Tales from the Asylum has grown into. I'm proud that my work is part of it!

I'm proud to have been a part of this. There are some truly talented people represented in this publication, as there are in every product MTJ puts out. Well done, and Happy 300th!

This issue looks great! I will be buying for sure... Did have one question... is most of the tickling m/f, f/f, or a mix of both?? thanks!!

I would say that it is roughly a 35/65 split with f/f coming out on top.

Thanks for the kind words. I had totally forgotten about that story, but it's one of my better ones if I say so myself lol

But honestly, all the stories and art are great. TFTA never disappoints.

So buy it. Now. For reals.

Sorry! I'm late to the game, here. I wanted to thank Jim for giving me the chance to showcase my artwork in their 300th issue!!!! Having just been brought under the MTJ Publishing wing, I am flattered to have gotten three fantastic pinups and a story illustration into this book. It's an honour to be put beside such brilliant artists and writers! Thank you so much! I'm especially happy to see TickleMantis' work finally in an MTJ publication, and happy to be able to share it by illustrating a cover for it.

Darkharp: You know how much I adore your work...and these images were no different. That Sheriff Annie image...O.O!!!! Blew me away. You’re a fantastic artist. The images in this publication are beyond sexy.

Deet, you are too sweet to me. And you certainly outdid yourself on that cover! Absolutely dripping with sexiness and talent. I love the style as well, a little different than what I'm used to seeing from you. Maybe that's just me, but I really loved that piece! Great work. Thank you so much for all the inspiration for the pinups!!! It was so much fun interpreting your ideas! 🙂

Yeah - I really enjoyed it. I read it again this weekend, actually.

DH - you're beyond terrific, you know that?

The cover is definitely different for me. It's a style I don't monkey around with in my comics, but I do use for some of my pin-up work like the Bounce Chix origins pin-up novels.

And thank you so much for the opportunity to inspire. I love your work so much...and working with you on a couple pin-ups was sooooooooooo much fun.

You rock, DH.
