NOBODY LICKS LORI – Ruthless businesswoman Lorelei Lane has planned the perfect crime: a glass of poisoned champagne to get rid of her arch-rival Renee Ransom. Unfortunately, all it takes is the old switcheroo to leave Lori helpless – paralyzed, but with her sense of touch all too intact! Now it’s Renee’s turn to play office politics – leaving poor Lori’s bare, honey-swabbed feet to the tender mercies of a pack of hungry cats!

PERCHANCE TO SCREAM – A young woman is tormented by a recurrent nightmare in which she is bound and tickle-tortured by a mysterious woman. When she sees the woman on a crowded bus, her reality turns inside out; is her agony the product of a deluded mind…or something much darker?

SOMEONE TO MAKE ME LAUGH – Sexpot Randi is the complete opposite of her shy twin sister Sandi. So when Sandi scores a date with a rich, handsome guy, Randi doesn’t hesitate to indulge in a little mischief. Before you can say “Bad Seed,” Sandi is tied up in a closet while Randi is stepping out with the debonair Ed. But Ed has a rather unusual fetish, and our bad girl is about to find out how dangerous internet dating really is…

The Package:

This comes to me as a suprise release: 3 in 1!!! The stories are chunked into small packages yet having the same theme. There is coherence in it, which means I had more in one publication

The Story:

Colin and his bottomless brains..! I had been coming across so much of his works, lots of them with great twists. I like characters who are caught in between surreal plots, not to mention the hazy confusion edging reality and dream. Colin is just adept in creating this kind of environment in a plot. I like it a lot. Ideas seem to flow in his thoughts, and all of the stories I read have the winning touch. What could be his trigger? Writers have it but not everyone can come up with so much. It takes a vivid imagination to do so, which is the hardest thing to keep going when the deadline give its final toll. I have enjoyed the 3 stories in this release, those creations with touch of EVIL in it -- makes me think of Hades... I just love a touch of evil in anything.

The Art:

I have mentioned before that Rick Wolf's art is distinct and vintage. Some disproportions come to me as style, for some reason I find sexy... or maybe the flow of lines did the job. The sequences are put to life in a clear manner, making his interpretation an effective one.

I'd like to comment the coloring too. I like the way it is done -- the textures. Simplicity works well yet having a well-combined palette. Nice use of complementary colors, which give brilliance to the composition as a whole.
