Tapatalk ad - go away!

There's a vary annoying ad for tapatalk cover a fifth of my screen on my iPhone. It hides a big part of attached images. It has a x for close, but that doesn't work.

It wants me to download the app, but when I've done that it wants be to open the app. The ad won't go away. VERY annoying

Tapatalk transitioned from a "user buys app" to an "app is free" model. As part of that, they are introducing ads. I've been wondering whether the staff need to discuss moving away from Tapatalk because of that. Unfortunately, an ad-free Tapatalk would cost money that the TMF may not want to or be able to spend.

I appreciate you sharing. If you happen to be able to take a screen shot of the offender (hold power and the main menu/home button simultaneously to snap a photo) and send it to me, that would be helpful in helping us decide what to do next.

There should no longer be ads displayed. Tapatalk gave the option for forum owners to turn them off, and the TMF has done so. Let me know if you see any more.

fttickler, you are correct. I am not sure why I thought it was free.
