Does anybody agree with me when I say that televison shows have gone way downhill.

I'd love for people to share what shows they like now and then.

Tell me if you agree with my point?

100%. To me, most TV was great until the 90's came along. For example (I'm going to skip over lots of good shows here), the 50's had Lucy and the Beaver, the 60's had Andy Griffith and Bonanza, the 70's had All in the Family, M*A*S*H, and the Jeffersons, and the 80's had Cheers, Family Ties, and the Cosby Show. Call me old-fashioned (or worse), but I think Seinfeld, Friends, the X-Files, Survivor, Fear Factor, and all that other stuff isn't in the same class as shows of past decades. I'm not saying all TV now is bad, I just don't like watching it, that's all. Good topic, FT. 🙂

I think the 90's had some good shows, but it definately did begin to decline here.

GOOD SHOWS OF THE 90'S

1. Law and Order
2. Murder she Wrote

And I know no one will agree with me but

3. Walker Texas Ranger

I think the problem is the networks. They're too afraid of offending the advertisers, that they won't put on any really good, ground breaking shows.

I like the new shows that have been coming out on cable, like 'The Shield', 'The Dead Zone', 'Six Feet Under'.
