Greetings again one and all! This installment of TQWD brings us into the mind and life of a TMF member fast becoming a regular and respected fixture here on our humble forum. A steady presence in P&R, an advocate for all thing "female foot related" and a good friend to all. Ladies and gentlemen, a few words with Robace252!
*****************************
1) We all know you as a regular fixture in the Politics and Religion forum. Like myself, you tend to stay rather "centered" (as much as possible) within debates. Does this reflect a personal political
philosophy as a centrist or is it more of a "dive into both sides" sort of thing? More to the point, how do you see yourself, politically speaking?
I see myself certainly as a moderate, with the exception of when it comes to the military. Having fought during Persian Gulf 1, as well as my degrees in Military History and Tactics, I very much tend to be pro-military and I make no apologies for that. On all other aspects I see myself in the middle, and when I get into a thread I often look for those that are one-sided and the other POV is not very well or at all represented...that is of course that the subject matter is something I feel I can contribute to, not just be "eye-candy" LOL. I try to bring up points not thought of, and of course I attack the Media as a whole because of my personal dislike for the way reporting is now treated as story, and how flashy and trashy will top the headlines. Lastly I feel I can see everyone's point of view. Whether or not I agree with it is not important because I can not tell someone they are wrong for their own personal convictions. What I do try to do is present some information on how I see things and then let people make up their own minds.
2) Follow-up political question. Let's assume for the sake of arguement that you have been elected President of the United States. In all seriousness, what would be the one major goal of your presidency? The "one big thing" you'd want to get accomplished. Of course, I don't mean "make everyone get along" or "solve world hunger" or something arbitrary like that. Something specific. One big change.
Wow, good question. This might be a shock to a lot of people, and I might catch some flak for this, but I would work on "updating" the constitution for the 21st century. Such like like The Right to Bear Arms (2nd Amend) should not mean the right to have 14 assault rifles, 5 9mm pistols, 10 rifles and an assortment of other small arms fire. I would more strictly define it. I would also ensure that sexual orienation would be written in and protected just as are race, creed, or sex of an individual. " I think ye old parchment could use a dusting off, after all what else from over 200 years ago is still relevant today."
That above quote is something comedian Dennis Miller once said and it sticks with me to this day.
3) Ok, enough politics. Let's move on to Things More Fun. This is still primarily a tickling-fetish forum, so what particular thing or part of the forum keeps you coming back from a fetish standpoint?
Oh goody, I was wondering when I get asked something with substance! OK OK, what keeps me comming back is the wealth of information and material. Back in the old days of alt newsgroups and maybe 1 or 2 website to go along with the AOL tickling chatroom, there was very little information and I kind of felt alone and to a degree perverted. But as more and more people came along, and I saw more and more personal (fiction and non-fiction) stories, pictures, then video clips. Im a person who is visually stimulated more so than by other means, so Ill admit it and say I love the art, the pictures but mostly the clips.
4) What are your own particular "quirks" within the tickling realm? By that, I mean...what kind of player are you? Likes and dislikes within the fetish itself?
Player....ROFL, I like that. I dont play the game I helped invent it. LOL. Im not really a player, I try to be real and upfront about myself along with my likes, dislikes and limitations. My likes within the fetish mostly have to do with feet and the tickling of them. Most everything I look at is about female feet. My dislikes honestly is the way a lot of women are treated. Most men feel that its ok for a man to have a fetish that is sexual in nature, and that its the norm. Every guy has that. But the women are seen as "freaky" and "kinky", thus a lot of men scare off a many women by constant PM's of the same old lines.
Although recently I have sensed a change in that attitude, there has been some growing up, but on the whole Id say we as a community have a long way to go to recognize that women have just as much right to have a fetish without being "kinky".
5) What sort of things does Rob do with his spare time that do not involve tickling?
Fantasy Football takes a lot of my time during football season, other than that raising my 2 daughters...which as a single father takes a LOT out of me. When I do have free time, Im usually reading journals, talking to members of the military and their families as well as donating my time to Red Cross or other organizations that help people less fortunate that I am, not that Im rich by any means, but I have a good life and if I can share something I will.
6) What is the one "fetish itch" that you have yet to scratch? The thing you really want to try or do, but have yet to fulfill?
Honestly? I have never been tied up and tickled myself. Ever. That is something Id like to do once the right woman came along. I know the giving end well, always been a ler, never a lee. So someday (with the right convincing) Id like to be the lee.
7) If you could have just one superhuman ability, what would it be?
Just one? Well if it was just one Id want to be able to mind read. I would love to know what people really think but are afraid to say, or what some politican really means when he gives us the lip service. But of course it could be fun in everyday situations, I could just causally mention tickling to any woman in a conversation and know what she thinks about it.
8) What fictional character, from any genre, would you be if you could?
Difficult question, hmmmmm, took some long hard thought but Id have to say Batman. I mean come on, the money, the girls, the car, and I could go around saying...."Pssst, hey...Im Batman" It would be cool.
9) I see from your sig image that you've got a penchant for the cards and such. How we play our games often reflects upon how we live our lives. So, are you a bluffer or a straight player? Do you throw it all in the pot holding a pair of tens or do you fold and hope for the Aces on the next hand?
Yes, and let me address one thing if I may. I get a lot of people asking what the ND on the shirt stands for, at least one member jokes with me that it stand for "No Democrats" which is amuzing but not true.
It stands for (The University of) Notre Dame, which I am fan of, Ill admit it, I like that school that a lot of people hate. But thats okay. On to the real question now, Im a straight player. I dont like BSing, because while Im good at telling the truth and playing it straight...there might be a better BS'er than I am. A pair of tens in a standard poker game I wouldnt be confident (Texas Hold em, Id want to see the flop) so Id fold and hope for those Ace's.
10) And finally...my now-obligatory Question Number Ten that is asked of all interviewees...If you could invite any three people, living or dead, to dinner...who would they be? And just to make it interesting...what do you serve?
Ahh yes. Just 3 people...living or dead. Well I know Id invite Walter Cronkite, a pillar of journalistic integrity. Just to have him reread the crap that passes for news reporting nowadays, and make it real news and not well...the crap that is given to us today. Next I would invite Rowan Atkinson. A comedy genius and real guy. He's an English comic for those that might not know, but most of you would know him as Mr. Bean, but I liked him well before that when he played in Blackadder. I highly recommend that series to anyone. Lastly I would invite George Washington. Because I know he loved this country and I could get insight into what our forefathers really meant by a lot of the language of the constitution
as well as to thank him in person for helping to create this great nation.
What would I serve.....A mexican feast made by own Aunt, tamales, rice, enchiladas, tacos, beans. The whole gambit. And for the sweets at the end, Ice Cream Cake. Id also ensure instead of an after dinner mint we all had some rolaids or pepto, cause you never know.....

Big thanks to Robace for taking a few moments out of his schedule to talk with us! This was one of the more interesting interviews I've done with someone who deosn't exactly fit the mold of "the usual questions". Thanks again, Rob!
