I know this is a weird question, because if I knew what would make me unbored, I wouldn't have been bored to begin with.

So when you're terminally bored what do you do to break out of it?

Tron

Thanks...

I was considering driving to Toronto or Chicago. But I've been to those places before.

I guess I could read. I have about 70 or 80 history books I haven't read yet.

Tron

I try to find something to do that I haven't done before or to take a road trip to somewhere I have never been. Get away from the familiar surroundings for a day and it has a rejuvenating effect.

Ray (sorry..my wife was signed in so I had to redo the message

😉 )

2 solutions...

I park myself in either a bookstore or the gym. One or the other usually does the job....

I Already...

Went to the gym early this morning at around 6am. ( I had to go early today). A bookstore sounds cool.

Tron

Indeed...

Especially the new ones...good coffee, nice sitting areas, plenty of light and always a discussion group going in one corner or another. But, the older, small establishments are where I go when I'm looking for something offbeat or different. The owners always are knowledgeable and interested in books, which immediately makes the visit pleasant... Q

Yeah But...

The Barnes and NOble in Toledo actually has Coeds working there and I've tickled one or two 🙂

You're right, about the smaller shops. But when I want a rare book I go online and look myself.

Is there anything cool in Delaware?

Tron

Well...

I'm off to give out candy canes to the local diabetics.

Be safe

Tron

Dreaming of Deleware...

Hope there's something cool there. It's one of the states I may retire to....seems nothing "bad" ever happens there, which is a definite plus nowdays. Lay off those poor old type2 diabetics, btw. They have enough dietary troubles! Q

hey tron...

if you'd like to see a new place, i'd recomend new orleans. if you like company, swing through chicago, and i'll join you! love that town.
on the way i'll try to diswade you from your facination with naval history, and join us ground pounders, lol.

Ah, Delaware...The State that Means Well....

When I get into states of termianl boredom for extended periods of time, I change my whole routine. Even the petty crap. Completely changing normal routine puts something different into the day even if you have to do the same old crap. I usually try to force myself to do one of those things that I always say I'll do "someday".

reading a book or playing a MMORPG usually helps here when I'm bored, but if I'm non-stop bored I just ponder my future, which in my opinion could either be very predictable OR totally not, and I'm seriously thinking of doing the second thing. How, I don't know yet, so therefore there's still alot to ponder.

Why dont u just keep replying to peoples messages like ur known for?

Go Lesbos Go!!

Swing by 'Tron'to, Tron, and we'll engage in fistacuffs with the lesbian population. They're mean.

Cheers.😀

I usually play the playstation or go out to billards.

Moses, looks like your having problems with your sig pic?

When I'm bored, I usually either hop in the car and go for a drive (just wandering whereever), start a new project or work on one of the web sites I play with. It tends to vary depending on how I feel and what the weather is like. Yesterday was nice and I felt half way decent. So, I got some things cleaned up out back.

Ann

Me?......well............

......I like to watch Challenger 2 battle tanks and the desert rats showing the Americans how its done!

You Mean...

Those challenger tanks that couldn't keep up so they left them at Basra?

Moses I almost came to Toronto, but right now Canada isn't high on my places to want to go to. (By the way, if you live near Toronto go to Hands From Heaven and get yourself a body slide)

I want to retire to Delaware too LOL

Steve, you live in Chi Town???? next time I go there maybe we can hook up and have lunch at Chelis???

Oh I ended up going to a massage place and got an incredible body slide from a gorgeous blonde named Heather (who also happens to be a Dom)

Come on Tronny...........

....try it just once, I promise you wont get struck down by a thunderbolt, try saying "yes red your guys are doing a bloody good job" it wont kill you i promise.

I read that the septics asked for the Brits to deal with Basra as when they went in, someone started shooting at them (not in the septic battle plan) and apparently 2 para "have more experience" in this area of warfare!!!

Hey Ann,
Next time you get really bored, hop on the Taconic and keep driving until you reach Albany. We can wreak havoc together like Ayla and I do. It is a lot of fun. 😉

Now where exactly did I knock the Brits? I acknowledged those tanks were charging, they're just doing it 300 miles behind the American tanks.

LOL Sounds like fun. Problem is that I'm usually limitted on time. Even now that the weather is clearing, it's 3 hours just to get there and back. If I'm going to be home in time to fix dinner for Drew, it doesn't leave much time to raise hell. Bummer, huh?

Ann

Ann,
Make dinner before you leave. Drew is a smart guy. I am sure he can reheat. LOL

Let's raise some H**L
