Hey Folks,
I live in southern Bergen County, not far from the Medowlands, and yesterday, during a family reunion @ my parent's place, there was a flurry of activity on the main street where the folk's house is. People running, police cars shutting down the street. It turned out that the wreck of the plane that crashed into the Strawberry clothing warehouse, close to the Bergen County Vocational Technical School, in Teteoborough(sp) was brought thru the street.. it was, I believe going to a warehouse in Harrison.
Though I was crying as I watched it being pulled on a flatbed, follwed by a bevy of HazMat and official cars, it was an awesome sight and a miracle that no one was killed. Ironically it was the SAME airline that my Aunt, who works in NYC, takes when she flys to her company's Syracuse office. My town is directly in the flightpath of Teteoborough-bound planes and they've even had to soundproof the high school I used to go to( according to a close friend of mine who now teaches there) because the sound was distracting the students.
This is a link about the crash itself

Did anyone else who lives in the Bergen Co area see the jet go by? If so what were your feelings?
