TikTok couldn’t help but praise an airplane passenger after he filmed himself dealing with another flyer who had put their bare feet on his armrest.


As COVID restrictions loosen and travel returns, so do the unusual things people do on planes. From fighting over the window seat to putting gum in another passenger’s hair, people really seem to show their true colors 30,000 feet in the air.


In this case, one of the Walker Twins — a YouTube comedy duo — noticed the person sitting behind him was putting their bare foot up on the back of his armrest. He captioned the video, “What to do in this situation.”

Armed with a Dasani water bottle, the TikToker quickly poured some water on the person’s foot to get them to put it down without any awkward confrontation.


Commenters loved the “hack,” and the clip quickly racked up over 4.5 million views.

“Right on,” someone commented. “I’m so tired of people and their lack of respect for others.”

“I can’t think of a better solution to get your point across,” another added.

“Why do people think this is OK?” a person asked.

A would make sure they weren’t comfortable going barefoot again

Eh, I would simply please ask the dude or lady whose feet is on my armrest to please take their foot off of my armrest and put it back on the floor.

If they didn't comply, I'd stop asking nicely and get up and tell them to take their damn bare feet off my arm rest.

That's only fair and should also work! 🙂 They probably don't want THAT much attention!

I wonder if he or she would be marked as a "problem flyer" in the airline's database if an attendant needs to get involved...

I agree, that's terrible, and if they had to cut the victim's hair I'll bet the perpetrator could be charged with malicious damage or something like that!

I can understand if it's a child but I would expect the child to be disciplined by the parent as soon as the parent gets the child to wherever their destination is.

If it's an adult I would fully expect the airline to BAN the person from flying on their airline from now on.

Absolutely, especially with regard to gum in hair, yes!

But that's an important point, we should see who & what those intrusive bare feet belong to also,
before doing anything other than spilling a few drops of cold water on them!
