That’s it - The Engagement is Off!

Yes you heard it here… from me… directly. The engagement is off. We are not getting married.

Now you’re saying “What on earth is she talking about?” Actually there never was an engagement!

During NEST this past weekend there were rumors flying that Affectionate Dan and I were engaged. People actually asked him when we were going to marry! Only heaven knows where that rumor started.

Dan and I have been best buddies since we first met at a gathering at my house. We play together well. We travel together well. Dan crews on my son’s racecar and Dan and his son work the races with us. We even share a room together well but we are NOT and never will be engaged.

Don’t get me wrong. He’s a cutie pie and boy if I were about 20 years younger I’d probably be throwing myself at him. You ladies know what I mean. He’s a big cuddly Teddy bear of a guy.

I also recall the same type of rumors started after DVNC and I traveled to Albany together. DVNC and I are like brother and sister. And besides… at SBG I was watching over DVNC for Kraftie! Dan and I are also like brother and sister. At NEST Dan is a terrific guy to travel with. He always seem to anticipate things before I even ask him to help running errands or doing set-up or anything.

So… if you heard the rumor… Just laugh. I sure did when I heard it! I feel so special that people think I’m getting engaged to all these young, handsome Stud-Muffins! Where were all you guys about 20 years ago?… Oh yeah… in High School! LOL

I'm NOT looking for that perfect match. I've got some very nice gentlemen in my life right now who are really awesome. There are no strings attached! That's always a big plus! LOL

But, I really enjoy being single. I don't have to answer to anyone. I can come and go as I please. I'm having more fun now than EVER before.

Besides... Now that the engagement is off... Oh Whoa is me! Boo Hoo!(LOL) my heart just can't take the pain (ROTFLMAO)(I'm trying to do this with a straight face but it's not working! LOL)
