My appetite is my shepherd; I always want.
It maketh me sit down and stuff myself.
It leadeth me to my refrigerator repeatedly.
It leadeth me in the path of Burger King for a Whopper.
It destroyeth my shape.
Yea, though I knoweth I gaineth, I will not stop eating
For the food tasteth so good.
The ice cream and the cookies, they comfort me.
When the table is spread before me, it exciteth me
For I knoweth that I sooneth shall dig in.
As I filleth my plate continuously,
My clothes runneth smaller.
Surely bulges and pudgies shall follow me all the days of my life
And I shall be "pleasingly plump" forever.

 
ROTFL!😀 Having just devoured a very large buffet brunch, this struck home.

I do that all the time. I know I shouldn't eat it, but I do it anyway. Plus I et when I'm bored and upset and when im hungry. Which are my 3 major moods.

I do the same damn thing... the thing that helped me is keeping good stuff around to munch if I absoltely HAVE to munch,( fruit,veggie sticks and lowfat dip ect)drinking water or Crystal Light first before heading to munch( sometimes you are actually dehydrated and the body is mistaking thirst signals for hunger) , and trying to keep my mind and hands occupied, esp when I am craving stuff. Just some things that have helped me curb the snack beast.Oh, and making sure you NEVER skip meals and eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger ones, to keep your blood sugar stable ( that is one of the things that controls hunger).Lately my cheat of choice is the "demon booze" but that is another story for another thread

I have this little round piece of plastic which I chew on. I wanted doritos one day and didn't want to walk downstairs to get them, so I put that in my mouth and started chewing and I started an addiction.
