ORDER THIS ISSUE TODAY AT http://www.the-agencies.com/agencies/issue_ten.htm

We just released issue ten of our long standing tickle torture comic book called The Agencies. We started the series off in summer 2002, and it has been performing very strongly ever since, picking up more and more readers with each passing issue.

This is a milestone issue, as it marks our journey into the double digits. It is a rather large accomplishment, and I'd like to thank our faithful readers over these years that have made future issues possible, as well as our art staff, that have given the comic universe a tangible look and feel. They've done an incredible job.

This issue is 10 pages long, comes with a cover and pinup, and costs $11.95. That is a very good deal for high quality tickle torture artwork, and if you enjoy tickling art, I'm confident you will enjoy our books. The main storyline starts with issue seven, and will continue forever (or until the series dies).

Issue ten marks the return of Miss Rachel Ghost. We introduced the character back in issue five, and she returns, with a brand new look, to face new challenges presented as a super spy. In this issue her mission is to rescue Agent Starlight from the foul clutches of Karma. But sometimes things don't go to plan. How will our fair heroine handle the challenges before her? You'll have to pick up issue ten and find out! We also find out that Yin and Yang are getting sick of their guest, and plot to get rid of her.

The cover to issue ten shows a few things. First, Miss Rachel is getting foot tickled underneath the table in the debriefing table. This meeting is right before issue ten takes place, where Mister Nathan explains to Rachel how she is to infiltrate into Karma's corporate headquarters and rescue Agent Starlight. Also featured in this cover are Agent Angelica and Agent Paladin, who are brand new characters to this comic universe. Both will appear as main characters in future issues of this series. More specifically, both will play a role in issue 11, slated to release at the end of 2006.

Never read any of our tickle torture comic books before? Fear not, here's the back issues you should read to catch up with the entire story:
Issue Seven
Issue Eight
Issue Nine
Issue Ten

Attached is a sample of the artwork and the cover.

I was hoping I wouldn't get lynched in the streets for putting such cheesy, jokesy stuff in the cover/first page, but haven't had any terrible feedback on it yet. Quite the contrary, I now have an offer to bear another's man-child. What a deal!

Thanks feathers and somebody23. The comments mean a lot to us, we hope you guys enjoy the artwork, the storyline, the characters, and the tickling inside these stories.

Awesome work (and I so love the humor)... I can't wait to get financially independant so I can buy some of these.

lol @ "ticklish situation" lollercopter!

Thanks again for the humor nods. Maybe I should try a stab at the lighter side more often.

Regardless I'm attaching a hi-res version of our pinup poster, it's of the main characters dancing. There's a small amount of tickling in the pic. Enjoy!

WOW! I thought the post on TMF was good. THIS is what I call a post of artwork! I wish Agencies was always delivered with pic sizes this big 🙂

*jaw drops*

Thats some quality workmanship 😀 this is actually my first time seeing a pin-up like this (my firewall doesn't allow me access to TMF, and I guess I just don't browse hard enough to see the pro work). Cute setup, with the dance club lol.

I'm hopin' this one turns out to be a big hit, to keep y'all in the business for years to come 🙂

Thanks guys, glad you both like it.

TF, you've said something I've always wondered, but no one's ever really brought it up: are you guys interested in higher resolution for the artwork? We have the artists shrink down the original artwork so that it is more accessible for folks. But the original files are twice the size of what I've posted up above. So they're huge, you'd be able to see the characters's nostrils...if you were so inclined 🙂

I'll need to make some decisions about the business soon. We're growing at a fairly rapid pace. And while that's not really a bad thing, it means I needs to make some decisions about automating our procedures a bit. I for one would love to have you guys be able to download the entire set the second the purchase is approved. It helps me out, and definitely makes it easier on you guys too. Like right now we're experiencing email problems that makes the comic really difficult to send out.

And perhaps something else I need to look at is raising the resolution a bit on the artwork, for those that enjoy something closer to the original size.

Sounds really good, Oblesklk 🙂 I'm glad to hear things are going well for ya.

If you had asked me the "resolution" question a few months ago I would have cried out against it due to my dialup. Now that I'm cookin with broadband tho, I say "bring it on!". Just something to keep in mind. I'm not greedy when it comes to freebies, but I can't deny the warm n' fuzzy feeling I get when I'm given a really bangin' sample...

Automation is the way to go with online purchasing. Nothing encourages me more than knowing I'll have instant access the second my transaction is approved. Good luck with it tho 🙂

The sooner I get my own credit-line so I can make these purchases (without my parents knowin what a perv I am lol) the sooner y'all will have another dedicated fanboy 🙂

That's kind of where I'm at right now. I assume that most people have some sort of broadband connection by now, but that's still a hell of a thing to force upon our readers that don't.

I just need to get off my butt and figure out a relatively cheap way to do this. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Otherwise I'll just do some searching in the next couple of months and see if I can find something reasonable and reliable.

A quick note of thanks to those that have purchased this issue, as well as everyone that have given a broad range of input and feedback on the issue and series as a whole. I'm happy with where we've started with this comic universe, and where we're at right now.

We're still planning on continuing the series, but going to take some time off of it for awhile. This is to give our artists a much deserved break, as well as retool some of the current ideas and scripts to make the series even more lively and vibrant. We tentatively plan to publish issue elevan in Spring 2007.

In the meantime, we're working on other projects that you guys will hopefully enjoy.

Oblesklk, as far as I'm concerned, the higher the resolution, the better!! Big is definitely better in this case ^_^ I've bought assorted tickle comics where the images I recieved were so small, the wouldn't even fill my monitor. How is anyone supposed to enjoy art when it's like that? Let alone printing off a page - pointless.

Honestly, if someone's email box isn't big enough to receive wonderfully big files, it's time for a better internet provider. Same goes for hard drive space. Time for a new computer or an upgrade! Or just burn them to disk ^_^

As for instant access, I'd love to be able to buy with a non-US credit card (I'm in Canada). No waiting, no going through PayPal. Just click and buy (MTJ allows all credit cards, for example).

I've looked into payment acceptance methods, and honestly none of them are standing out in the crowd. There are several we could use, but all of them would be a substantial fee increase, which we would then need to pass on to our customers. Although if you guys are willing to pay $11.95 and wait a day or so to receive the order via email, perhaps you'd also be willing to pay $13.95 for the exact same book, higher resolution, and instant access?

We're still undercharging market value for these books, so a small price increase to cover a feature you guys have been asking for over the years might definitely be in order.

I'll keep looking.

Just got back from vacation, so the search continues for a CC processor.

Thanks for everyone for their support with this issue, and other issues as well. It means a lot to us. As always, requests are very welcome.
