Good evening everyone!
Today a recommended video appeared for me which I thought was very good. The girl's really ticklish - which you can tell right from the start by the way she tries to protect herself at the beginning of the video. I leave here the description that she wrote for the video:
Birgit Deubner:
"It's great to have friends who will participate in my silliness.
If you hit the subscribe button I will make another tickling video... But honestly this has NOTHING to do with sex. (I have recently received a lot of views from what I suspect are people who are expecting something else, please read below. This was a test for an Art Project and I actually abandoned the project because it was too difficult to realise.)
Something made me think about the similarity of facial expressions in being tickled and in experiencing a trauma. In this little sketch I am trying to figure out if I could do an art project about something serious in a very funny way.
I am considering it a complete fail because it is way too difficult to let myself be tickled. I was originally thinking of getting other people to let themselves be tickled, filming the situation at 120 frame per second and then dramatically slowing the footage down to reveal something that actually is reminiscent of a torturous experience.
Why on earth would I do that, want to do that? At the time of filming this clip I was looking a lot into the human tragedies, the reality of dehumanisation, othering, human trafficking and slavery.. Really what I was researching was really dark and sad and I was wondering if somehow I could reference it in a very light way.
The project got stuck in the sand and that's where it remains at the moment, but I am thinking about it again and so I thought I upload this silly little tickling video that was part of the thinking process.
Thank you for viewing my videos, please subscribe if you would like to see more project ideas from me soon. The more subscribers my channel gets the more encouraged I will feel to create fresh content and let my imagination uncurl its wings.
After a long creative break, prompted by a successful international love affair and my involvement with a professional glassmaker as his Arts Admin & creative designs manager I am now itching at the fingertips to publish my past and soon my future art projects.
My goal is for the content here to be uninhibited and freely creative. This means that I will upload project 'sketches' as well as finished projects. 'Idea Sketches' are quicker and easier to produce, finished projects require funding and a team. Let's see, shall we, what 2018 will allow us to create!
